21:1 LAI TB, TUHAN memperhatikan Sara, seperti yang difirmankan-Nya, dan TUHAN melakukan kepada Sara seperti yang dijanjikan-Nya.
KJV, And the LORD visited Sarah as he had said, and the LORD did unto Sarah as he had spoken.
Hebrew,
וַיהוָה פָּקַד אֶת־שָׂרָה כַּאֲשֶׁר אָמָר וַיַּעַשׂ יְהוָה לְשָׂרָה כַּאֲשֶׁר דִּבֵּר׃

21:2 LAI TB, Maka mengandunglah Sara, lalu ia melahirkan seorang anak laki-laki bagi Abraham dalam masa tuanya, pada waktu yang telah ditetapkan, sesuai dengan firman Allah kepadanya.
KJV, For Sarah conceived, and bare Abraham a son in his old age, at the set time of which God had spoken to him.

וַתַּהַר וַתֵּלֶד שָׂרָה לְאַבְרָהָם בֵּן לִזְקֻנָיו לַמֹּועֵד אֲשֶׁר־דִּבֶּר אֹתֹו אֱלֹהִים׃
Translit, VATAHAR VATELED SARAH LE’AV’RAHAM BEN LIZ’QUNAV LAMO’ED ‘ASHER-DIBER ‘OTO ‘ELOHIM

21:3 LAI TB, Abraham menamai anaknya yang baru lahir itu Ishak, yang dilahirkan Sara baginya.
KJV, And Abraham called the name of his son that was born unto him, whom Sarah bare to him, Isaac.

וַיִּקְרָא אַבְרָהָם אֶת־שֶׁם־בְּנֹו הַנֹּולַד־לֹו אֲשֶׁר־יָלְדָה־לֹּו שָׂרָה יִצְחָק׃
Translit, VAYIQRA ‘AV’RAHAM ‘ET-SHEM-BENO HANOLAD-LO ‘ASHER-YAL’DAH-LO SARAH YITS’KHAQ

21:4 LAI TB, Kemudian Abraham menyunat Ishak, anaknya itu, ketika berumur delapan hari, seperti yang diperintahkan Allah kepadanya.
KJV, And Abraham circumcised his son Isaac being eight days old, as God had commanded him.

וַיָּמָל אַבְרָהָם אֶת־יִצְחָק בְּנֹו בֶּן־שְׁמֹנַת יָמִים כַּאֲשֶׁר צִוָּה אֹתֹו אֱלֹהִים׃

21:5 LAI TB, Adapun Abraham berumur seratus tahun, ketika Ishak, anaknya, lahir baginya.
KJV, And Abraham was an hundred years old, when his son Isaac was born unto him.

וְאַבְרָהָם בֶּן־מְאַת שָׁנָה בְּהִוָּלֶד לֹו אֵת יִצְחָק בְּנֹו׃

21:6 LAI TB, Berkatalah Sara: “Allah telah membuat aku tertawa; setiap orang yang mendengarnya akan tertawa karena aku.”
KJV, And Sarah said, God hath made me to laugh, so that all that hear will laugh with me.

וַתֹּאמֶר שָׂרָה צְחֹק עָשָׂה לִי אֱלֹהִים כָּל־הַשֹּׁמֵעַ יִצְחַק־לִי׃
Translit, VATOMER SARAH TSEKHOQ ‘ASAH LI ‘ELOHIM KOL-HASHOME’A YITS’KHAQ-LI

21:7 LAI TB, Lagi katanya: “Siapakah tadinya yang dapat mengatakan kepada Abraham: Sara menyusui anak? Namun aku telah melahirkan seorang anak laki-laki baginya pada masa tuanya.”
KJV, And she said, Who would have said unto Abraham, that Sarah should have given children suck? for I have born him a son in his old age.

וַתֹּאמֶר מִי מִלֵּל לְאַבְרָהָם הֵינִיקָה בָנִים שָׂרָה כִּי־יָלַדְתִּי בֵן לִזְקֻנָיו׃
Translit, VATOMER MI MILEL LE’AV’RAHAM HEINIQAH VANIM SARAH KI-YALAD’TI VEN LIZ’QUNAV

21:8 LAI TB, Bertambah besarlah anak itu dan ia disapih, lalu Abraham mengadakan perjamuan besar pada hari Ishak disapih itu.
KJV, And the child grew, and was weaned: and Abraham made a great feast the same day that Isaac was weaned.

וַיִּגְדַּל הַיֶּלֶד וַיִּגָּמַל וַיַּעַשׂ אַבְרָהָם מִשְׁתֶּה גָדֹול בְּיֹום הִגָּמֵל אֶת־יִצְחָק׃

21:9 LAI TB, Pada waktu itu Sara melihat, bahwa anak yang dilahirkan Hagar, perempuan Mesir itu bagi Abraham, sedang main dengan Ishak, anaknya sendiri.
KJV, And Sarah saw the son of Hagar the Egyptian, which she had born unto Abraham, mocking.

תֵּרֶא שָׂרָה אֶת־בֶּן־הָגָר הַמִּצְרִית אֲשֶׁר־יָלְדָה לְאַבְרָהָם מְצַחֵק׃

21:10 LAI TB, Berkatalah Sara kepada Abraham: “Usirlah hamba perempuan itu beserta anaknya, sebab anak hamba ini tidak akan menjadi ahli waris bersama-sama dengan anakku Ishak.”
KJV, Wherefore she said unto Abraham, Cast out this bondwoman and her son: for the son of this bondwoman shall not be heir with my son, even with Isaac.

וַתֹּאמֶר לְאַבְרָהָם גָּרֵשׁ הָאָמָה הַזֹּאת וְאֶת־בְּנָהּ כִּי לֹא יִירַשׁ בֶּן־הָאָמָה הַזֹּאת עִם־בְּנִי עִם־יִצְחָק׃
Translit, VATOMER LE’AV’RAHAM GARESH HA’AMAH HAZOT VE’ET-BENAH KI LO YIRASH BEN-HA’AMAH HAZOT IM-BENI IM-YITS’KHAQ

21:11 LAI TB, Hal ini sangat menyebalkan Abraham oleh karena anaknya itu.
KJV, And the thing was very grievous in Abraham’s sight because of his son.

וַיֵּרַע הַדָּבָר מְאֹד בְּעֵינֵי אַבְרָהָם עַל אֹודֹת בְּנֹו׃
Translit, VAYERA HADAVAR ME’OD BEEINEY ‘AV’RAHAM ‘AL ‘ODOT BENO

21:12 LAI TB, Tetapi Allah berfirman kepada Abraham: “Janganlah sebal hatimu karena hal anak dan budakmu itu; dalam segala yang dikatakan Sara kepadamu, haruslah engkau mendengarkannya, sebab yang akan disebut keturunanmu ialah yang berasal dari Ishak.
KJV, And God said unto Abraham, Let it not be grievous in thy sight because of the lad, and because of thy bondwoman; in all that Sarah hath said unto thee, hearken unto her voice; for in Isaac shall thy seed be called.

וַיֹּאמֶר אֱלֹהִים אֶל־אַבְרָהָם אַל־יֵרַע בְּעֵינֶיךָ עַל־הַנַּעַר וְעַל־אֲמָתֶךָ כֹּל אֲשֶׁר תֹּאמַר אֵלֶיךָ שָׂרָה שְׁמַע בְּקֹלָהּ כִּי בְיִצְחָק יִקָּרֵא לְךָ זָרַע׃

21:13 LAI TB, Tetapi keturunan dari hambamu itu juga akan Kubuat menjadi suatu bangsa, karena ia pun anakmu.”
KJV, And also of the son of the bondwoman will I make a nation, because he is thy seed.
Hebrew,
וְגַם אֶת־בֶּן־הָאָמָה לְגֹוי אֲשִׂימֶנּוּ כִּי זַרְעֲךָ הוּא׃
Translit, VEGAM ‘ET-BEN-HA’AMAH LEGOY ‘ASIMENU KI ZARAKHA HU

21:14 LAI TB, Keesokan harinya pagi-pagi Abraham mengambil roti serta sekirbat air dan memberikannya kepada Hagar. Ia meletakkan itu beserta anaknya di atas bahu Hagar, kemudian disuruhnyalah perempuan itu pergi. Maka pergilah Hagar dan mengembara di padang gurun Bersyeba.
KJV, And Abraham rose up early in the morning, and took bread, and a bottle of water, and gave it unto Hagar, putting it on her shoulder, and the child, and sent her away: and she departed, and wandered in the wilderness of Beersheba.

וַיַּשְׁכֵּם אַבְרָהָם ׀ בַּבֹּקֶר וַיִּקַּח־לֶחֶם וְחֵמַת מַיִם וַיִּתֵּן אֶל־הָגָר שָׂם עַל־שִׁכְמָהּ וְאֶת־הַיֶּלֶד וַיְשַׁלְּחֶהָ וַתֵּלֶךְ וַתֵּתַע בְּמִדְבַּר בְּאֵר שָׁבַע׃

21:15 LAI TB, Ketika air yang dikirbat itu habis, dibuangnyalah anak itu ke bawah semak-semak,
KJV, And the water was spent in the bottle, and she cast the child under one of the shrubs.

וַיִּכְלוּ הַמַּיִם מִן־הַחֵמֶת וַתַּשְׁלֵךְ אֶת־הַיֶּלֶד תַּחַת אַחַד הַשִּׂיחִם׃

21:16 LAI TB, dan ia duduk agak jauh, kira-kira sepemanah jauhnya, sebab katanya: “Tidak tahan aku melihat anak itu mati.” Sedang ia duduk di situ, menangislah ia dengan suara nyaring.
KJV, And she went, and sat her down over against him a good way off, as it were a bow shot: for she said, Let me not see the death of the child. And she sat over against him, and lift up her voice, and wept.

וַתֵּלֶךְ וַתֵּשֶׁב לָהּ מִנֶּגֶד הַרְחֵק כִּמְטַחֲוֵי קֶשֶׁת כִּי אָמְרָה אַל־אֶרְאֶה בְּמֹות הַיָּלֶד וַתֵּשֶׁב מִנֶּגֶד וַתִּשָּׂא אֶת־קֹלָהּ וַתֵּבְךְּ׃

21:17 LAI TB, Allah mendengar suara anak itu, lalu Malaikat Allah berseru dari langit kepada Hagar, kata-Nya kepadanya: “Apakah yang engkau susahkan, Hagar? Janganlah takut, sebab Allah telah mendengar suara anak itu dari tempat ia terbaring.
KJV, And God heard the voice of the lad; and the angel of God called to Hagar out of heaven, and said unto her, What aileth thee, Hagar? fear not; for God hath heard the voice of the lad where he is.

וַיִּשְׁמַע אֱלֹהִים אֶת־קֹול הַנַּעַר וַיִּקְרָא מַלְאַךְ אֱלֹהִים ׀ אֶל־הָגָר מִן־הַשָּׁמַיִם וַיֹּאמֶר לָהּ מַה־לָּךְ הָגָר אַל־תִּירְאִי כִּי־שָׁמַע אֱלֹהִים אֶל־קֹול הַנַּעַר בַּאֲשֶׁר הוּא־שָׁם׃
Translit, VAYISH’MA ‘ELOHIM ‘ET-QOL HANA’AR VAYIQ’RA MAL’AKH ‘ELOHIM ‘EL-HAGAR MIN-HASHAMAYIM VAYOMER LAH MAH-LAKH HAGAR ‘AL-TIR’I KI-SHAMA ‘ELOHIM ‘EL-QOL HANA’AR BA’ASHER HU-SHAM

21:18 LAI TB, Bangunlah, angkatlah anak itu, dan bimbinglah dia, sebab Aku akan membuat dia menjadi bangsa yang besar.”
KJV, Arise, lift up the lad, and hold him in thine hand; for I will make him a great nation.

קוּמִי שְׂאִי אֶת־הַנַּעַר וְהַחֲזִיקִי אֶת־יָדֵךְ בֹּו כִּי־לְגֹוי גָּדֹול אֲשִׂימֶנּוּ׃
Translit, QUMI SE’I ‘ET-HANA’AR VEHAKHAZIQI ‘ET-YADEKH BO KI-LEGOY GADOL ‘ASIMENU

21:19 LAI TB, Lalu Allah membuka mata Hagar, sehingga ia melihat sebuah sumur; ia pergi mengisi kirbatnya dengan air, kemudian diberinya anak itu minum.
KJV, And God opened her eyes, and she saw a well of water; and she went, and filled the bottle with water, and gave the lad drink.

וַיִּפְקַח אֱלֹהִים אֶת־עֵינֶיהָ וַתֵּרֶא בְּאֵר מָיִם וַתֵּלֶךְ וַתְּמַלֵּא אֶת־הַחֵמֶת מַיִם וַתַּשְׁקְ אֶת־הַנָּעַר׃

21:20 LAI TB, Allah menyertai anak itu, sehingga ia bertambah besar; ia menetap di padang gurun dan menjadi seorang pemanah.
KJV, And God was with the lad; and he grew, and dwelt in the wilderness, and became an archer.

וַיְהִי אֱלֹהִים אֶת־הַנַּעַר וַיִּגְדָּל וַיֵּשֶׁב בַּמִּדְבָּר וַיְהִי רֹבֶה קַשָּׁת׃

21:21 LAI TB, Maka tinggallah ia di padang gurun Paran, dan ibunya mengambil seorang isteri baginya dari tanah Mesir.
KJV, And he dwelt in the wilderness of Paran: and his mother took him a wife out of the land of Egypt.

21:22 LAI TB, Pada waktu itu Abimelekh, beserta Pikhol, panglima tentaranya, berkata kepada Abraham: “Allah menyertai engkau dalam segala sesuatu yang engkau lakukan.
KJV, And it came to pass at that time, that Abimelech and Phichol the chief captain of his host spake unto Abraham, saying, God is with thee in all that thou doest:

וַיְהִי בָּעֵת הַהִוא וַיֹּאמֶר אֲבִימֶלֶךְ וּפִיכֹל שַׂר־צְבָאֹו אֶל־אַבְרָהָם לֵאמֹר אֱלֹהִים עִמְּךָ בְּכֹל אֲשֶׁר־אַתָּה עֹשֶׂה׃
Translit, VAYEHI BA’ET HAHI VAYOMER ‘AVIMELEKH UFIKHOL SAR-TSEVA’O ‘EL-‘AV’RAHAM LEMOR ‘ELOHIM ‘IM’KHA BEKHOL ‘ASHER-‘ATAH ‘OSEH

21:23 LAI TB, Oleh sebab itu, bersumpahlah kepadaku di sini demi Allah, bahwa engkau tidak akan berlaku curang kepadaku, atau kepada anak-anakku, atau kepada cucu cicitku; sesuai dengan persahabatan yang kulakukan kepadamu, demikianlah harus engkau berlaku kepadaku dan kepada negeri yang kautinggali sebagai orang asing.”
KJV, Now therefore swear unto me here by God that thou wilt not deal falsely with me, nor with my son, nor with my son’s son: but according to the kindness that I have done unto thee, thou shalt do unto me, and to the land wherein thou hast sojourned.
Hebrew,
וְעַתָּה הִשָּׁבְעָה לִּי בֵאלֹהִים הֵנָּה אִם־תִּשְׁקֹר לִי וּלְנִינִי וּלְנֶכְדִּי כַּחֶסֶד אֲשֶׁר־עָשִׂיתִי עִמְּךָ תַּעֲשֶׂה עִמָּדִי וְעִם־הָאָרֶץ אֲשֶׁר־גַּרְתָּה בָּהּ׃

21:24 LAI TB, Lalu kata Abraham: “Aku bersumpah!”
KJV, And Abraham said, I will swear.

21:25 LAI TB, Tetapi Abraham menyesali Abimelekh tentang sebuah sumur yang telah dirampas oleh hamba-hamba Abimelekh.
KJV, And Abraham reproved Abimelech because of a well of water, which Abimelech’s servants had violently taken away.

וְהֹוכִחַ אַבְרָהָם אֶת־אֲבִימֶלֶךְ עַל־אֹדֹות בְּאֵר הַמַּיִם אֲשֶׁר גָּזְלוּ עַבְדֵי אֲבִימֶלֶךְ׃
Translit, VEHOKHI’AKH ‘AVRAHAM ‘ET-‘AVIMELEKH ‘AL-‘ODOT BE’ER HAMAYIM ‘ASHER GAZ’LU ‘AV’DEY ‘AVIMELEKH

21:26 LAI TB, Jawab Abimelekh: “Aku tidak tahu, siapa yang melakukan hal itu; lagi tidak kauberitahukan kepadaku, dan sampai hari ini belum pula kudengar.”
KJV, And Abimelech said, I wot not who hath done this thing; neither didst thou tell me, neither yet heard I of it, but to day.
Hebrew,
וַיֹּאמֶר אֲבִימֶלֶךְ לֹא יָדַעְתִּי מִי עָשָׂה אֶת־הַדָּבָר הַזֶּה וְגַם־אַתָּה לֹא־הִגַּדְתָּ לִּי וְגַם אָנֹכִי לֹא שָׁמַעְתִּי בִּלְתִּי הַיֹּום׃
Translit, VAYOMER ‘AVIMELEKH LO YADATI MI ‘ASAH ‘ET-HADAVAR HAZEH VEGAM-‘ATAH LO-HIGAD’TA LI VEGAM ‘ANOKHI LO SHAMATI BIL’TI HAYOM

21:27 LAI TB, Lalu Abraham mengambil domba dan lembu dan memberikan semuanya itu kepada Abimelekh, kemudian kedua orang itu mengadakan perjanjian.
KJV, And Abraham took sheep and oxen, and gave them unto Abimelech; and both of them made a covenant.

וַיִּקַּח אַבְרָהָם צֹאן וּבָקָר וַיִּתֵּן לַאֲבִימֶלֶךְ וַיִּכְרְתוּ שְׁנֵיהֶם בְּרִית׃
Translit, VAYIQAKH ‘AV’RAHAM TSON UVAQAR VAYITEN LA’AVIMELEKH VAYIKH’RETU SHENEIHEM BERIT

21:28 LAI TB, Tetapi Abraham memisahkan tujuh anak domba betina dari domba-domba itu.
KJV, And Abraham set seven ewe lambs of the flock by themselves.

וַיַּצֵּב אַבְרָהָם אֶת־שֶׁבַע כִּבְשֹׂת הַצֹּאן לְבַדְּהֶן׃
Translit, VAYATSEV ‘AVRAHAM ‘ET-SHEVA KIV’SHOT HATSON LEVADHEN

21:29 LAI TB, Lalu kata Abimelekh kepada Abraham: “Untuk apakah ketujuh anak domba yang kaupisahkan ini?”
KJV, And Abimelech said unto Abraham, What mean these seven ewe lambs which thou hast set by themselves?

וַיֹּאמֶר אֲבִימֶלֶךְ אֶל־אַבְרָהָם מָה הֵנָּה שֶׁבַע כְּבָשֹׂת הָאֵלֶּה אֲשֶׁר הִצַּבְתָּ לְבַדָּנָה׃
Translit, VAYOMER ‘AVIMELEKH ‘EL-‘AV’RAHAM MAH HENAH SHEVA KEVASHOT HA’ELEH ‘ASHER HITSAV’TA LEVADANAH

21:30 LAI TB, Jawabnya: “Ketujuh anak domba ini harus kauterima dari tanganku untuk menjadi tanda bukti bagiku, bahwa akulah yang menggali sumur ini.”
KJV, And he said, For these seven ewe lambs shalt thou take of my hand, that they may be a witness unto me, that I have digged this well.

וַיֹּאמֶר כִּי אֶת־שֶׁבַע כְּבָשֹׂת תִּקַּח מִיָּדִי בַּעֲבוּר תִּהְיֶה־לִּי לְעֵדָה כִּי חָפַרְתִּי אֶת־הַבְּאֵר הַזֹּאת׃
Translit, VAYOMER KI ‘ET-SHEVA KEVASHOT TIQAKH MIYADI BA’AVUR TIH’YEH-LI LE’EDAH KI KHAFAR’TI ‘ET-HABE’ER HAZOT

21:31 LAI TB, Sebab itu orang menyebutkan tempat itu Bersyeba, karena kedua orang itu telah bersumpah di sana.
KJV, Wherefore he called that place Beersheba; because there they sware both of them.

עַל־כֵּן קָרָא לַמָּקֹום הַהוּא בְּאֵר שָׁבַע כִּי שָׁם נִשְׁבְּעוּ שְׁנֵיהֶם׃
Translit, ‘AL-KEN QARA LAMAQOM HAHU BE’ER SHAVA KI SHAM NISH’BE’U SHENEIHEM

21:32 LAI TB, Setelah mereka mengadakan perjanjian di Bersyeba, pulanglah Abimelekh beserta Pikhol, panglima tentaranya, ke negeri orang Filistin.
KJV, Thus they made a covenant at Beersheba: then Abimelech rose up, and Phichol the chief captain of his host, and they returned into the land of the Philistines.
