17:1 LAI TB, TUHAN berfirman kepada Musa:

17:2 LAI TB, “Berbicaralah kepada Harun dan kepada anak-anaknya dan kepada seluruh orang Israel, dan katakan kepada mereka: Inilah firman yang diperintahkan TUHAN:
KJV, Speak unto Aaron, and unto his sons, and unto all the children of Israel, and say unto them; This is the thing which the LORD hath commanded, saying,

דַּבֵּר אֶל־אַהֲרֹן וְאֶל־בָּנָיו וְאֶל כָּל־בְּנֵי יִשְׂרָאֵל וְאָמַרְתָּ אֲלֵיהֶם זֶה הַדָּבָר אֲשֶׁר־צִוָּה יְהוָה לֵאמֹר׃
Translit, DABER ‘EL-‘AHARON VE’EL-BANAV VE’EL KOL-BENEY YISRA’EL VE’AMARTA ‘ALEYHEM ZEH HADAVAR ‘ASYER-TSIVAH YEHOVAH (dibaca: ‘Adonay) LEMOR
17:3 LAI TB, Setiap orang dari kaum Israel yang menyembelih lembu atau domba atau kambing di dalam perkemahan atau di luarnya,
KJV, What man soever there be of the house of Israel, that killeth an ox, or lamb, or goat, in the camp, or that killeth it out of the camp,

אִישׁ אִישׁ מִבֵּית יִשְׂרָאֵל אֲשֶׁר יִשְׁחַט שֹׁור אֹו־כֶשֶׂב אֹו־עֵז בַּמַּחֲנֶה אֹו אֲשֶׁר יִשְׁחַט מִחוּץ לַמַּחֲנֶה׃
Translit interlinear, ‘ISH ‘ISH {setiap orang} MIBEIT {dari kaum} YISRA’EL {israel} ‘ASHER {yang} YISH’KHAT {menyembelih} SHOR {lembu} ‘O- {atau} KHESEV {domba} ‘O- {atau} ‘EZ {kambing} BAMAKHANEH {di dalam kemah} ‘O {atau} ‘ASHER {yang} YISH’KHAT {dia menyembelih} MIKHUTS {di luar} LAMAKHANEH {kemah itu}
17:4 LAI TB, tetapi tidak membawanya ke pintu Kemah Pertemuan, untuk dipersembahkan sebagai persembahan kepada TUHAN di depan Kemah Suci TUHAN, hal itu harus dihitungkan kepada orang itu sebagai hutang darah, karena ia telah menumpahkan darah, dan orang itu haruslah dilenyapkan dari tengah-tengah bangsanya.
KJV, And bringeth it not unto the door of the tabernacle of the congregation, to offer an offering unto the LORD before the tabernacle of the LORD; blood shall be imputed unto that man; he hath shed blood; and that man shall be cut off from among his people:

וְאֶל־פֶּתַח אֹהֶל מֹועֵד לֹא הֱבִיאֹו לְהַקְרִיב קָרְבָּן לַיהוָה לִפְנֵי מִשְׁכַּן יְהוָה דָּם יֵחָשֵׁב לָאִישׁ הַהוּא דָּם שָׁפָךְ וְנִכְרַת הָאִישׁ הַהוּא מִקֶּרֶב עַמֹּו׃

17:5 LAI TB, Maksudnya supaya orang Israel membawa korban sembelihan mereka, yang biasa dipersembahkan mereka di padang, kepada TUHAN ke pintu Kemah Pertemuan dengan menyerahkannya kepada imam, untuk dipersembahkan kepada TUHAN sebagai korban keselamatan.
KJV, To the end that the children of Israel may bring their sacrifices, which they offer in the open field, even that they may bring them unto the LORD, unto the door of the tabernacle of the congregation, unto the priest, and offer them for peace offerings unto the LORD.

לְמַעַן אֲשֶׁר יָבִיאוּ בְּנֵי יִשְׂרָאֵל אֶת־זִבְחֵיהֶם אֲשֶׁר הֵם זֹבְחִים עַל־פְּנֵי הַשָּׂדֶה וֶהֱבִיאֻם לַיהוָה אֶל־פֶּתַח אֹהֶל מֹועֵד אֶל־הַכֹּהֵן וְזָבְחוּ זִבְחֵי שְׁלָמִים לַיהוָה אֹותָם׃

17:6 LAI TB, Imam harus menyiramkan darahnya pada mezbah TUHAN di depan pintu Kemah Pertemuan dan membakar lemaknya menjadi bau yang menyenangkan bagi TUHAN.
KJV, And the priest shall sprinkle the blood upon the altar of the LORD at the door of the tabernacle of the congregation, and burn the fat for a sweet savour unto the LORD.

וְזָרַק הַכֹּהֵן אֶת־הַדָּם עַל־מִזְבַּח יְהוָה פֶּתַח אֹהֶל מֹועֵד וְהִקְטִיר הַחֵלֶב לְרֵיחַ נִיחֹחַ לַיהוָה׃
Translit, VEZARAQ HAKOHEN ‘ET-HADAM ‘AL-MIZBAKH YEHOVAH (dibaca: ‘Adonay) PETAKH ‘OHEL MO’ED VEHIQTIR HAKHELEV LEREYAKH NIKHO’AKH LAYEHOVAH (dibaca: La’Adonay)
17:7 LAI TB, Janganlah mereka mempersembahkan lagi korban mereka kepada jin-jin, sebab menyembah jin-jin itu adalah zinah. Itulah yang harus menjadi ketetapan untuk selama-lamanya bagi mereka turun-temurun.
KJV, And they shall no more offer their sacrifices unto devils, after whom they have gone a whoring. This shall be a statute for ever unto them throughout their generations.

וְלֹא־יִזְבְּחוּ עֹוד אֶת־זִבְחֵיהֶם לַשְּׂעִירִם אֲשֶׁר הֵם זֹנִים אַחֲרֵיהֶם חֻקַּת עֹולָם תִּהְיֶה־זֹּאת לָהֶם לְדֹרֹתָם׃
Translit, VELO-YIZBEKHU ‘OD ‘ET-ZIVKHEYHEM LASIRIM ‘ASYER HEM ZONIM ‘AKHAREYHEM KHUQAT ‘OLAM TIHYEH-ZOT LAHEM LEDOROTAM
17:8 LAI TB, Dan haruslah kaukatakan kepada mereka: Setiap orang dari kaum Israel atau dari orang asing yang tinggal di tengah-tengah mereka, yang mempersembahkan korban bakaran atau korban sembelihan,
KJV, And thou shalt say unto them, Whatsoever man there be of the house of Israel, or of the strangers which sojourn among you, that offereth a burnt offering or sacrifice,
Hebrew,
וַאֲלֵהֶם תֹּאמַר אִישׁ אִישׁ מִבֵּית יִשְׂרָאֵל וּמִן־הַגֵּר אֲשֶׁר־יָגוּר בְּתֹוכָם אֲשֶׁר־יַעֲלֶה עֹלָה אֹו־זָבַח׃
Translit, VA’ALEHEM TOMAR ‘ISY ‘ISY MIBEIT YISRA’EL UMIN-HAGER ASYER-YAGUR BETOKHAM ‘ASYER-YA’ALEH ‘OLAH ‘O-ZAVAKH
17:9 LAI TB, tetapi tidak membawanya ke pintu Kemah Pertemuan supaya dipersembahkan kepada TUHAN, maka orang itu haruslah dilenyapkan dari antara orang-orang sebangsanya.”

17:10 LAI TB, “Setiap orang dari bangsa Israel dan dari orang asing yang tinggal di tengah-tengah mereka, yang makan darah apa pun juga Aku sendiri akan menentang dia dan melenyapkan dia dari tengah-tengah bangsanya.
KJV, And whatsoever man there be of the house of Israel, or of the strangers that sojourn among you, that eateth any manner of blood; I will even set my face against that soul that eateth blood, and will cut him off from among his people.

וְאִישׁ אִישׁ מִבֵּית יִשְׂרָאֵל וּמִן־הַגֵּר הַגָּר בְּתֹוכָם אֲשֶׁר יֹאכַל כָּל־דָּם וְנָתַתִּי פָנַי בַּנֶּפֶשׁ הָאֹכֶלֶת אֶת־הַדָּם וְהִכְרַתִּי אֹתָהּ מִקֶּרֶב עַמָּהּ׃

17:11 LAI TB, Karena nyawa makhluk ada di dalam darahnya dan Aku telah memberikan darah itu kepadamu di atas mezbah untuk mengadakan pendamaian bagi nyawamu, karena darah mengadakan pendamaian dengan perantaraan nyawa.
KJV, For the life of the flesh is in the blood: and I have given it to you upon the altar to make an atonement for your souls: for it is the blood that maketh an atonement for the soul.

כִּי נֶפֶשׁ הַבָּשָׂר בַּדָּם הִוא וַאֲנִי נְתַתִּיו לָכֶם עַל־הַמִּזְבֵּחַ לְכַפֵּר עַל־נַפְשֹׁתֵיכֶם כִּי־הַדָּם הוּא בַּנֶּפֶשׁ יְכַפֵּר׃
Translit, KI-NEFESY HABASAR BADAM HIV VA’ANI NETATIV LAKHEM ‘AL-HAMIZBE’AKH LEKHAPER ‘AL-NAFSYOTEYKHEM KI-HADAM HU BANEFESY YEKHAPER
17:12 LAI TB, Itulah sebabnya Aku berfirman kepada orang Israel: Seorang pun di antaramu janganlah makan darah. Demikian juga orang asing yang tinggal di tengah-tengahmu tidak boleh makan darah.
KJV, Therefore I said unto the children of Israel, No soul of you shall eat blood, neither shall any stranger that sojourneth among you eat blood.

עַל־כֵּן אָמַרְתִּי לִבְנֵי יִשְׂרָאֵל כָּל־נֶפֶשׁ מִכֶּם לֹא־תֹאכַל דָּם וְהַגֵּר הַגָּר בְּתֹוכְכֶם לֹא־יֹאכַל דָּם׃ ס
Translit, ‘AL-KEN ‘AMARTI LIVNEY YISRA’EL KOL-NEFESY MIKEM LO-TOKHAL DAM VEHAGER HAGAR BETOKHAKHEM LO-YOKHAL DAM
17:13 LAI TB, Setiap orang dari orang Israel dan dari orang asing yang tinggal di tengah-tengahmu, yang menangkap dalam perburuan seekor binatang atau burung yang boleh dimakan, haruslah mencurahkan darahnya, lalu menimbunnya dengan tanah.
KJV, And whatsoever man there be of the children of Israel, or of the strangers that sojourn among you, which hunteth and catcheth any beast or fowl that may be eaten; he shall even pour out the blood thereof, and cover it with dust.
Hebrew,
וְאִישׁ אִישׁ מִבְּנֵי יִשְׂרָאֵל וּמִן־הַגֵּר הַגָּר בְּתֹוכָם אֲשֶׁר יָצוּד צֵיד חַיָּה אֹו־עֹוף אֲשֶׁר יֵאָכֵל וְשָׁפַךְ אֶת־דָּמֹו וְכִסָּהוּ בֶּעָפָר׃
Translit, VE’ISY ‘ISY MIBNEY YISRA’EL UMIN-HAGER HAGAR BETOKHAM ‘ASYER YATSUD TSEID KHAYAH ‘O-‘OF ‘ASYER YE’AKHEL VESYAFAKH ‘ET-DAMO VEKHISAHU BE’AFAR
17:14 LAI TB, Karena darah itulah nyawa segala makhluk. Sebab itu Aku telah berfirman kepada orang Israel: Darah makhluk apa pun janganlah kamu makan, karena darah itulah nyawa segala makhluk: setiap orang yang memakannya haruslah dilenyapkan.
KJV, For it is the life of all flesh; the blood of it is for the life thereof: therefore I said unto the children of Israel, Ye shall eat the blood of no manner of flesh: for the life of all flesh is the blood thereof: whosoever eateth it shall be cut off.

כִּי־נֶפֶשׁ כָּל־בָּשָׂר דָּמֹו בְנַפְשֹׁו הוּא וָאֹמַר לִבְנֵי יִשְׂרָאֵל דַּם כָּל־בָּשָׂר לֹא תֹאכֵלוּ כִּי נֶפֶשׁ כָּל־בָּשָׂר דָּמֹו הִוא כָּל־אֹכְלָיו יִכָּרֵת׃
Translit, KI-NEFESY KOL-BASAR DAMO VENAFSYO HU VA’OMAR LIVNEY YISRA’EL DAM KOL-BASAR LO TOKHELU KI NEFESY KOL-BASAR DAMO HIV KOL-‘OKHLAV YIKARET
17:15 LAI TB, Dan setiap orang yang makan bangkai atau sisa mangsa binatang buas, baik ia orang Israel asli maupun orang asing, haruslah mencuci pakaiannya, membasuh tubuhnya dengan air dan ia menjadi najis sampai matahari terbenam, barulah ia menjadi tahir.
KJV, And every soul that eateth that which died of itself, or that which was torn with beasts, whether it be one of your own country, or a stranger, he shall both wash his clothes, and bathe himself in water, and be unclean until the even: then shall he be clean.

וְכָל־נֶפֶשׁ אֲשֶׁר תֹּאכַל נְבֵלָה וּטְרֵפָה בָּאֶזְרָח וּבַגֵּר וְכִבֶּס בְּגָדָיו וְרָחַץ בַּמַּיִם וְטָמֵא עַד־הָעֶרֶב וְטָהֵר׃
Translit, VEKHOL-NEFESY ‘ASYER TOKHAL NEVELAH UTEREFAH BA’EZRAKH UVAGER VEKHIBES BEGADAV VERAKHATS BAMAYIM VETAME ‘AD-HA’EREV VETAHER
17:16 LAI TB, Tetapi jikalau ia tidak mencuci pakaiannya dan tidak membasuh tubuhnya, ia akan menanggung kesalahannya sendiri.”
KJV, But if he wash them not, nor bathe his flesh; then he shall bear his iniquity.

וְאִם לֹא יְכַבֵּס וּבְשָׂרֹו לֹא יִרְחָץ וְנָשָׂא עֲוֹנֹו׃ פ
