KELUARAN PASAL 17
17:1 LAI TB, Kemudian berangkatlah segenap jemaah Israel dari padang gurun Sin, berjalan dari tempat persinggahan ke tempat persinggahan, sesuai dengan titah TUHAN, lalu berkemahlah mereka di Rafidim, tetapi di sana tidak ada air untuk diminum bangsa itu.
KJV, And all the congregation of the children of Israel journeyed from the wilderness of Sin, after their journeys, according to the commandment of the LORD, and pitched in Rephidim: and there was no water for the people to drink.
Hebrew,
וַיִּסְעוּ כָּל־עֲדַת בְּנֵי־יִשְׂרָאֵל מִמִּדְבַּר־סִין לְמַסְעֵיהֶם עַל־פִּי יְהוָה וַיַּחֲנוּ בִּרְפִידִים וְאֵין מַיִם לִשְׁתֹּת הָעָם׃
Translit, VAYISU KOL-‘ADAT BENEY-YISRA’EL MIMIDBAR-SIN LEMASEYHEM ‘AL-PI YEHOVAH (dibaca: ‘Adonay) VAYAKHANU BIRFIDIM VE’EIN MAYIM LISYTOT HA’AM
17:2 LAI TB, Jadi mulailah mereka itu bertengkar dengan Musa, kata mereka: “Berikanlah air kepada kami, supaya kami dapat minum.” Tetapi Musa berkata kepada mereka: “Mengapakah kamu bertengkar dengan aku? Mengapakah kamu mencobai TUHAN?”
KJV, Wherefore the people did chide with Moses, and said, Give us water that we may drink. And Moses said unto them, Why chide ye with me? wherefore do ye tempt the LORD?
Hebrew,
וַיָּרֶב הָעָם עִם־מֹשֶׁה וַיֹּאמְרוּ תְּנוּ־לָנוּ מַיִם וְנִשְׁתֶּה וַיֹּאמֶר לָהֶם מֹשֶׁה מַה־תְּרִיבוּן עִמָּדִי מַה־תְּנַסּוּן אֶת־יְהוָה׃
Translit, VAYAREV HA’AM ‘IM-MOSYEH VAYOMRU TENU-LANU MAYIM VENISYTEH VAYOMER LAHEM MOSYEH MA-TERIVUN ‘IMADI MA-TENASUN ‘ET-YEHOVAH (dibaca: ‘Et-‘Adonay)
17:3 LAI TB, Hauslah bangsa itu akan air di sana; bersungut-sungutlah bangsa itu kepada Musa dan berkata: “Mengapa pula engkau memimpin kami keluar dari Mesir, untuk membunuh kami, anak-anak kami dan ternak kami dengan kehausan?”
KJV, And the people thirsted there for water; and the people murmured against Moses, and said, Wherefore is this that thou hast brought us up out of Egypt, to kill us and our children and our cattle with thirst?
Hebrew,
וַיִּצְמָא שָׁם הָעָם לַמַּיִם וַיָּלֶן הָעָם עַל־מֹשֶׁה וַיֹּאמֶר לָמָּה זֶּה הֶעֱלִיתָנוּ מִמִּצְרַיִם לְהָמִית אֹתִי וְאֶת־בָּנַי וְאֶת־מִקְנַי בַּצָּמָא׃
Translit, VAYITSMA SYAM HA’AM LAMAYIM VAYALEN HA’AM ‘AL-MOSYE VAYOMER LAMAH ZEH HE’ELITANU MIMITSRAYIM LEHAMIT ‘OTI VE’ET-BANAY VE’ET-MIQNAY BATSAMA
17:4 LAI TB, Lalu berseru-serulah Musa kepada TUHAN, katanya: “Apakah yang akan kulakukan kepada bangsa ini? Sebentar lagi mereka akan melempari aku dengan batu!”
KJV, And Moses cried unto the LORD, saying, What shall I do unto this people? they be almost ready to stone me.
Hebrew,
וַיִּצְעַק מֹשֶׁה אֶל־יְהוָה לֵאמֹר מָה אֶעֱשֶׂה לָעָם הַזֶּה עֹוד מְעַט וּסְקָלֻנִי׃
Translit, VAYITSAQ MOSYEH EL-YEHOVAH (dibaca: El-‘Adonay) LEMOR MAH ‘E’ESHE LA’AM HAZEH ‘OD ME’AT USEQALUNI
17:5 LAI TB, Berfirmanlah TUHAN kepada Musa: “Berjalanlah di depan bangsa itu dan bawalah beserta engkau beberapa orang dari antara para tua-tua Israel; bawalah juga di tanganmu tongkatmu yang kaupakai memukul sungai Nil dan pergilah.
KJV, And the LORD said unto Moses, Go on before the people, and take with thee of the elders of Israel; and thy rod, wherewith thou smotest the river, take in thine hand, and go.
Hebrew,
וַיֹּאמֶר יְהוָה אֶל־מֹשֶׁה עֲבֹר לִפְנֵי הָעָם וְקַח אִתְּךָ מִזִּקְנֵי יִשְׂרָאֵל וּמַטְּךָ אֲשֶׁר הִכִּיתָ בֹּו אֶת־הַיְאֹר קַח בְּיָדְךָ וְהָלָכְתָּ׃
Translit, VAYOMER YEHOVAH (dibaca: ‘Adonay) ‘EL-MOSYEH ‘AVOR LIFNEY HA’AM VEQAKH ‘ITKHA MIZIQNEY YISRA’EL UMATKHA ‘ASYER HIKITA BO ‘ET-HAYE’OR QAKH BEYADKHA VEHALAKHTA
17:6 LAI TB, Maka Aku akan berdiri di sana di depanmu di atas gunung batu di Horeb; haruslah kaupukul gunung batu itu dan dari dalamnya akan keluar air, sehingga bangsa itu dapat minum.” Demikianlah diperbuat Musa di depan mata tua-tua Israel.
KJV, Behold, I will stand before thee there upon the rock in Horeb; and thou shalt smite the rock, and there shall come water out of it, that the people may drink. And Moses did so in the sight of the elders of Israel.
Hebrew,
הִנְנִי עֹמֵד לְפָנֶיךָ שָּׁם ׀ עַל־הַצּוּר בְּחֹרֵב וְהִכִּיתָ בַצּוּר וְיָצְאוּ מִמֶּנּוּ מַיִם וְשָׁתָה הָעָם וַיַּעַשׂ כֵּן מֹשֶׁה לְעֵינֵי זִקְנֵי יִשְׂרָאֵל׃
Translit, HINNI ‘OMED LEFANEYKHA SYAM ‘AL-HATSUR BEKHOREV VEHIKITA VATSUR VEYATSU MIMENU MAYIM VESYATA HA’AM VAYA’AS KEN MOSYEH LE’EYNEY ZIQNEY YISRA’EL
17:7 LAI TB, Dinamailah tempat itu Masa dan Meriba, oleh karena orang Israel telah bertengkar dan oleh karena mereka telah mencobai TUHAN dengan mengatakan: “Adakah TUHAN di tengah-tengah kita atau tidak?”
KJV, And he called the name of the place Massah, and Meribah, because of the chiding of the children of Israel, and because they tempted the LORD, saying, Is the LORD among us, or not?
Hebrew,
וַיִּקְרָא שֵׁם הַמָּקֹום מַסָּה וּמְרִיבָה עַל־רִיב ׀ בְּנֵי יִשְׂרָאֵל וְעַל נַסֹּתָם אֶת־יְהוָה לֵאמֹר הֲיֵשׁ יְהוָה בְּקִרְבֵּנוּ אִם־אָיִן׃ פ
Translit,VAYIQRA SYEM HAMAQOM MASAH UMERIVAH ‘AL-RIV BENEY YISRA’EL VE’AL NASOTAM ‘ET- YEHOVAH (dibaca: Et-‘Adonay) LEMOR HAYESH YEHOVAH (dibaca: ‘Adonay) BEQIRBENU ‘IM-‘AYIN
17:8 LAI TB, Lalu datanglah orang Amalek dan berperang melawan orang Israel di Rafidim.
KJV, Then came Amalek, and fought with Israel in Rephidim.
Hebrew,
וַיָּבֹא עֲמָלֵק וַיִּלָּחֶם עִם־יִשְׂרָאֵל בִּרְפִידִם׃
Translit,VAYAVO ‘AMALEQ VAYILAKHEM ‘IM-YISRA’EL BIRFIDIM
17:9 LAI TB, Musa berkata kepada Yosua: “Pilihlah orang-orang bagi kita, lalu keluarlah berperang melawan orang Amalek, besok aku akan berdiri di puncak bukit itu dengan memegang tongkat Allah di tanganku.”
KJV, And Moses said unto Joshua, Choose us out men, and go out, fight with Amalek: to morrow I will stand on the top of the hill with the rod of God in mine hand.
Hebrew,
וַיֹּאמֶר מֹשֶׁה אֶל־יְהֹושֻׁעַ בְּחַר־לָנוּ אֲנָשִׁים וְצֵא הִלָּחֵם בַּעֲמָלֵק מָחָר אָנֹכִי נִצָּב עַל־רֹאשׁ הַגִּבְעָה וּמַטֵּה הָאֱלֹהִים בְּיָדִי׃
Translit, VAYOMER MOSYEH ‘EL-YEHOSYU’A BEKHAR-LANU ‘ANASYIM VETSE HILAKHEM BA’AMALEQ MAKHAR ‘ANOKHI NITSAV ‘AL-ROSY HAGIVAH UMATEH HA’ELOHIM BEYADI
17:10 LAI TB, Lalu Yosua melakukan seperti yang dikatakan Musa kepadanya dan berperang melawan orang Amalek; tetapi Musa, Harun dan Hur telah naik ke puncak bukit.
KJV, So Joshua did as Moses had said to him, and fought with Amalek: and Moses, Aaron, and Hur went up to the top of the hill.

וַיַּעַשׂ יְהֹושֻׁעַ כַּאֲשֶׁר אָמַר־לֹו מֹשֶׁה לְהִלָּחֵם בַּעֲמָלֵק וּמֹשֶׁה אַהֲרֹן וְחוּר עָלוּ רֹאשׁ הַגִּבְעָה׃
Translit,VAYA’AS YEHOSYUA KA’ASYER ‘AMAR-LO MOSYEH LEHILAKHEM BA’AMALEQ UMOSYEH ‘AHARON VEKHUR ‘ALU ROSY HAGIVAH
17:11 LAI TB, Dan terjadilah, apabila Musa mengangkat tangannya, lebih kuatlah Israel, tetapi apabila ia menurunkan tangannya, lebih kuatlah Amalek.
KJV, And it came to pass, when Moses held up his hand, that Israel prevailed: and when he let down his hand, Amalek prevailed.
Hebrew,
וְהָיָה כַּאֲשֶׁר יָרִים מֹשֶׁה יָדֹו וְגָבַר יִשְׂרָאֵל וְכַאֲשֶׁר יָנִיחַ יָדֹו וְגָבַר עֲמָלֵק׃
Translit, VEHAYAH KA’ASYER YARIM MOSYEH YADO VEGAVAR YISRA’EL VEKHA’ASYER YANI’AKH YADO VEGAVAR ‘AMALEQ
17:12 LAI TB, Maka penatlah tangan Musa, sebab itu mereka mengambil sebuah batu, diletakkanlah di bawahnya, supaya ia duduk di atasnya; Harun dan Hur menopang kedua belah tangannya, seorang di sisi yang satu, seorang di sisi yang lain, sehingga tangannya tidak bergerak sampai matahari terbenam.
KJV, But Moses hands were heavy; and they took a stone, and put it under him, and he sat thereon; and Aaron and Hur stayed up his hands, the one on the one side, and the other on the other side; and his hands were steady until the going down of the sun. Hebrew,
וִידֵי מֹשֶׁה כְּבֵדִים וַיִּקְחוּ־אֶבֶן וַיָּשִׂימוּ תַחְתָּיו וַיֵּשֶׁב עָלֶיהָ וְאַהֲרֹן וְחוּר תָּמְכוּ בְיָדָיו מִזֶּה אֶחָד וּמִזֶּה אֶחָד וַיְהִי יָדָיו אֱמוּנָה עַד־בֹּא הַשָּׁמֶשׁ׃
Translit, VIDEY MOSYEH KEVEDIM VAYIQKHU-‘EVEN VAYASIMU TAKHTAV VAYESYEV ‘ALEYHA VE’AHARON VEKHUR TAMKHU VEYADAV MIZEH ‘EKHAD UMIZEH ‘EKHAD VAYEHI YADAV ‘EMUNAH ‘AD-BO HASYAMESY
17:13 LAI TB, Demikianlah Yosua mengalahkan Amalek dan rakyatnya dengan mata pedang.
KJV, And Joshua discomfited Amalek and his people with the edge of the sword.

וַיַּחֲלֹשׁ יְהֹושֻׁעַ אֶת־עֲמָלֵק וְאֶת־עַמֹּו לְפִי־חָרֶב׃ פ
Translit, VAYAKHALOSY YEHOSYUA ‘ET-‘AMALEQ VE’ET-‘AMO LEFI-KHAREV
17:14 LAI TB, Kemudian berfirmanlah TUHAN kepada Musa: “Tuliskanlah semuanya ini dalam sebuah kitab sebagai tanda peringatan, dan ingatkanlah ke telinga Yosua, bahwa Aku akan menghapuskan sama sekali ingatan kepada Amalek dari kolong langit.”
KJV, And the LORD said unto Moses, Write this for a memorial in a book, and rehearse it in the ears of Joshua: for I will utterly put out the remembrance of Amalek from under heaven.

וַיֹּאמֶר יְהוָה אֶל־מֹשֶׁה כְּתֹב זֹאת זִכָּרֹון בַּסֵּפֶר וְשִׂים בְּאָזְנֵי יְהֹושֻׁעַ כִּי־מָחֹה אֶמְחֶה אֶת־זֵכֶר עֲמָלֵק מִתַּחַת הַשָּׁמָיִם׃
Translit, VAYOMER {dan Dia berfirman} YEHOVAH (dibaca: ‘Adonay, TUHAN) ‘EL- {kepada} MOSHEH {musa} KETOV {tulisakanlah} ZOT {ini} ZIKARON {sebagai peringatan} BASEFER {ke dalam sebuah kitam} VESIM {dan taruhlah} BE’AZ’NEY {pada kedua telinga dari} YEHOSHUA {yosua} KI- {sebab} MAKHOH ‘EM’KHEH {aku benar2 akan menghapuskan} ‘ET- {pada (DDO)} ZEKHER {ingatan kepada} ‘AMALEQ {orang Amalek} MITAKHAT {dibawah} HASHAMAYIM {langit ini}
17:15 LAI TB, Lalu Musa mendirikan sebuah mezbah dan menamainya: “TUHANlah panji-panjiku!”
KJV, And Moses built an altar, and called the name of it Jehovahnissi:
Hebrew,
וַיִּבֶן מֹשֶׁה מִזְבֵּחַ וַיִּקְרָא שְׁמֹו יְהוָה ׀ נִסִּי׃
Translit, VAYIVEN MOSYEH MIZBE’AKH VAYIQRA SYEMO YEHOVAH (dibaca: ‘Adonay) NISI
17:16 LAI TB, Ia berkata: “Tangan di atas panji-panji TUHAN! TUHAN berperang melawan Amalek turun-temurun.”
KJV, For he said, Because the LORD hath sworn that the LORD will have war with Amalek from generation to generation.

וַיֹּאמֶר כִּי־יָד עַל־כֵּס יָהּ מִלְחָמָה לַיהוָה בַּעֲמָלֵק מִדֹּר דֹּר׃ פ
