4:1 LAI TB, Lalu sahut Musa: “Bagaimana jika mereka tidak percaya kepadaku dan tidak mendengarkan perkataanku, melainkan berkata: TUHAN tidak menampakkan diri kepadamu?”
KJV, And Moses answered and said, But, behold, they will not believe me, nor hearken unto my voice: for they will say, The LORD hath not appeared unto thee.

וַיַּעַן מֹשֶׁה וַיֹּאמֶר וְהֵן לֹא־יַאֲמִינוּ לִי וְלֹא יִשְׁמְעוּ בְּקֹלִי כִּי יֹאמְרוּ לֹא־נִרְאָה אֵלֶיךָ יְהוָה׃
Translit, VAYA’AN MOSYEH VAYOMER VE’HEN LO-YA’AMINU LI VELO YISYME’U BEQOLI KI YOMRU LO-NIR’AH ‘ELEYKHA YEHOVAH (baca: ‘Adonay)

4:2 LAI TB, TUHAN berfirman kepadanya: “Apakah yang di tanganmu itu?” Jawab Musa: “Tongkat.”
KJV, And the LORD said unto him, What is that in thine hand? And he said, A rod.

וַיֹּאמֶר אֵלָיו יְהוָה [מַזֶּה כ] (מַה־זֶּה ק) בְיָדֶךָ וַיֹּאמֶר מַטֶּה׃
Translit, VAYOMER ‘ELAV YEHOVAH (baca: ‘Adonay) MAZEh MA-ZEh VEYADEKHA VAYOMER MATEH

4:3 LAI TB, Firman TUHAN: “Lemparkanlah itu ke tanah.” Dan ketika dilemparkannya ke tanah, maka tongkat itu menjadi ular, sehingga Musa lari meninggalkannya.
KJV, And he said, Cast it on the ground. And he cast it on the ground, and it became a serpent; and Moses fled from before it.

וַיֹּאמֶר הַשְׁלִיכֵהוּ אַרְצָה וַיַּשְׁלִיכֵהוּ אַרְצָה וַיְהִי לְנָחָשׁ וַיָּנָס מֹשֶׁה מִפָּנָיו׃
Translit, VAYOMER HASYELIKHEHU ‘ARTSAH VAYASYLIKHEHU ‘ARTSAH VAYEHI LENAKHASH VAYANAS MOSYEH MIPANAV

4:4 LAI TB, Tetapi firman TUHAN kepada Musa: “Ulurkanlah tanganmu dan peganglah ekornya” — Musa mengulurkan tangannya, ditangkapnya ular itu, lalu menjadi tongkat di tangannya
KJV, And the LORD said unto Moses, Put forth thine hand, and take it by the tail. And he put forth his hand, and caught it, and it became a rod in his hand:
Hebrew,
וַיֹּאמֶר יְהוָה אֶל־מֹשֶׁה שְׁלַח יָדְךָ וֶאֱחֹז בִּזְנָבֹו וַיִּשְׁלַח יָדֹו וַיַּחֲזֶק בֹּו וַיְהִי לְמַטֶּה בְּכַפֹּו׃
Translit, VAYOMER YEHOVAH (baca: ‘Adonay) ‘EL-MOSYEH SYELAKH YADKHA VE’EKHOZ BIZNAVO VAYISYLAKH YADO VAYAKHAZEQ-BO VAYEHI LEMATEH BEKHAPO

4:5 LAI TB, — “supaya mereka percaya, bahwa TUHAN, Allah nenek moyang mereka, Allah Abraham, Allah Ishak dan Allah Yakub telah menampakkan diri kepadamu.”
KJV, That they may believe that the LORD God of their fathers, the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob, hath appeared unto thee.
Hebrew,
לְמַעַן יַאֲמִינוּ כִּי־נִרְאָה אֵלֶיךָ יְהוָה אֱלֹהֵי אֲבֹתָם אֱלֹהֵי אַבְרָהָם אֱלֹהֵי יִצְחָק וֵאלֹהֵי יַעֲקֹב׃
Translit, LEMA’AN YA’AMINU KI-NIRAH ‘ELEYKHA YEHOVAH (baca: ‘Adonay) ‘ELOHEY ‘AVOTAM ‘ELOHEY ‘AVRAHAM ‘ELOHEY YITSKHAQ VELOHEY YA’AQOV

4:6 LAI TB, Lagi firman TUHAN kepadanya: “Masukkanlah tanganmu ke dalam bajumu.” Dimasukkannya tangannya ke dalam bajunya, dan setelah ditariknya ke luar, maka tangannya kena kusta, putih seperti salju.
KJV, And the LORD said furthermore unto him, Put now thine hand into thy bosom. And he put his hand into his bosom: and when he took it out, behold, his hand was leprous as snow.
Hebrew,
וַיֹּאמֶר יְהוָה לֹו עֹוד הָבֵא־נָא יָדְךָ בְּחֵיקֶךָ וַיָּבֵא יָדֹו בְּחֵיקֹו וַיֹּוצִאָהּ וְהִנֵּה יָדֹו מְצֹרַעַת כַּשָּׁלֶג׃
Translit, VAYOMER YEHOVAH (baca: ‘Adonay) LO ‘OD HAVE-NA YADKHA BEKHEYQEKHA VAYAVE YADO BEKHEYQO VAYOTSI’AH VEHINEH YADO METSORA’AT KASYALEG

4:7 LAI TB, Sesudah itu firman-Nya: “Masukkanlah tanganmu kembali ke dalam bajumu.” Musa memasukkan tangannya kembali ke dalam bajunya dan setelah ditariknya ke luar, maka tangan itu pulih kembali seperti seluruh badannya.
KJV, And he said, Put thine hand into thy bosom again. And he put his hand into his bosom again; and plucked it out of his bosom, and, behold, it was turned again as his other flesh.
Hebrew,
וַיֹּאמֶר הָשֵׁב יָדְךָ אֶל־חֵיקֶךָ וַיָּשֶׁב יָדֹו אֶל־חֵיקֹו וַיֹּוצִאָהּ מֵחֵיקֹו וְהִנֵּה־שָׁבָה כִּבְשָׂרֹו׃
Translit, VAYOMER HASYEV YADKHA ‘EL-KHEYQEKHA VAYASYEV YADO ‘EL-KHEYQO VAYOTSI’AH MEKHEYQO VEHINEH-SYAVAH KIVSARO

4:8 LAI TB, “Jika mereka tidak percaya kepadamu dan tidak mengindahkan tanda mujizat yang pertama, maka mereka akan percaya kepada tanda mujizat yang kedua.
KJV, And it shall come to pass, if they will not believe thee, neither hearken to the voice of the first sign, that they will believe the voice of the latter sign.

וְהָיָה אִם־לֹא יַאֲמִינוּ לָךְ וְלֹא יִשְׁמְעוּ לְקֹל הָאֹת הָרִאשֹׁון וְהֶאֱמִינוּ לְקֹל הָאֹת הָאַחֲרֹון׃
Translit, VEHAYAH ‘IM-LO YA’AMINU LAKH VELO YISYME’U LEQOL HA’OT HARISYON VEHE’EMINU LEQOL HA’OT HA’AKHARON

4:9 LAI TB, Dan jika mereka tidak juga percaya kepada kedua tanda mujizat ini dan tidak mendengarkan perkataanmu, maka engkau harus mengambil air dari sungai Nil dan harus kaucurahkan di tanah yang kering, lalu air yang kauambil itu akan menjadi darah di tanah yang kering itu.”
KJV, And it shall come to pass, if they will not believe also these two signs, neither hearken unto thy voice, that thou shalt take of the water of the river, and pour it upon the dry land: and the water which thou takest out of the river shall become blood upon the dry land.
Hebrew,
וְהָיָה אִם־לֹא יַאֲמִינוּ גַּם לִשְׁנֵי הָאֹתֹות הָאֵלֶּה וְלֹא יִשְׁמְעוּן לְקֹלֶךָ וְלָקַחְתָּ מִמֵּימֵי הַיְאֹר וְשָׁפַכְתָּ הַיַּבָּשָׁה וְהָיוּ הַמַּיִם אֲשֶׁר תִּקַּח מִן־הַיְאֹר וְהָיוּ לְדָם בַּיַּבָּשֶׁת׃
Translit, VEHAYAH IM-LO YA’AMINU GAM LISYNEY HA’OTOT HA’ELEH VELO YISYME’UN LEKOLEKHA VELAQAKHTA MIMEYMEY HAYE’OR VESYAFAKHTA HAYABASYAH VEHAYU HAMAYIM ‘ASYER TIQAKH MIN-HAYE’OR VEHAYU LEDAM BAYABASYET

4:10 LAI TB, Lalu kata Musa kepada TUHAN: “Ah, Tuhan, aku ini tidak pandai bicara, dahulu pun tidak dan sejak Engkau berfirman kepada hamba-Mu pun tidak, sebab aku berat mulut dan berat lidah.”
KJV, And Moses said unto the LORD, O my LORD, I am not eloquent, neither heretofore, nor since thou hast spoken unto thy servant: but I am slow of speech, and of a slow tongue.

וַיֹּאמֶר מֹשֶׁה אֶל־יְהוָה בִּי אֲדֹנָי לֹא אִישׁ דְּבָרִים אָנֹכִי גַּם מִתְּמֹול גַּם מִשִּׁלְשֹׁם גַּם מֵאָז דַּבֶּרְךָ אֶל־עַבְדֶּךָ כִּי כְבַד־פֶּה וּכְבַד לָשֹׁון אָנֹכִי׃

4:11 LAI TB, Tetapi TUHAN berfirman kepadanya: “Siapakah yang membuat lidah manusia, siapakah yang membuat orang bisu atau tuli, membuat orang melihat atau buta; bukankah Aku, yakni TUHAN?
KJV, And the LORD said unto him, Who hath made man’s mouth? or who maketh the dumb, or deaf, or the seeing, or the blind? have not I the LORD?

וַיֹּאמֶר יְהוָה אֵלָיו מִי שָׂם פֶּה לָאָדָם אֹו מִי־יָשׂוּם אִלֵּם אֹו חֵרֵשׁ אֹו פִקֵּחַ אֹו עִוֵּר הֲלֹא אָנֹכִי יְהוָה׃

4:12 LAI TB, Oleh sebab itu, pergilah, Aku akan menyertai lidahmu dan mengajar engkau, apa yang harus kaukatakan.”
KJV, Now therefore go, and I will be with thy mouth, and teach thee what thou shalt say.

וְעַתָּה לֵךְ וְאָנֹכִי אֶהְיֶה עִם־פִּיךָ וְהֹורֵיתִיךָ אֲשֶׁר תְּדַבֵּר׃
Translit, VE’ATAh LEKH VE’ANOKHI ‘EHYEh ‘IM-PIKHA VEHOREYTIKHA ‘ASyER TEDABER

4:13 LAI TB, Tetapi Musa berkata: “Ah, Tuhan, utuslah kiranya siapa saja yang patut Kauutus.”
KJV, And he said, O my LORD, send, I pray thee, by the hand of him whom thou wilt send.

וַיֹּאמֶר בִּי אֲדֹנָי שְׁלַח־נָא בְּיַד־תִּשְׁלָח׃

4:14 LAI TB, Maka bangkitlah murka TUHAN terhadap Musa dan Ia berfirman: “Bukankah di situ Harun, orang Lewi itu, kakakmu? Aku tahu, bahwa ia pandai bicara; lagipula ia telah berangkat menjumpai engkau, dan apabila ia melihat engkau, ia akan bersukacita dalam hatinya.
KJV, And the anger of the LORD was kindled against Moses, and he said, Is not Aaron the Levite thy brother? I know that he can speak well. And also, behold, he cometh forth to meet thee: and when he seeth thee, he will be glad in his heart.

וַיִּחַר־אַף יְהוָה בְּמֹשֶׁה וַיֹּאמֶר הֲלֹא אַהֲרֹן אָחִיךָ הַלֵּוִי יָדַעְתִּי כִּי־דַבֵּר יְדַבֵּר הוּא וְגַם הִנֵּה־הוּא יֹצֵא לִקְרָאתֶךָ וְרָאֲךָ וְשָׂמַח בְּלִבֹּו׃

4:15 LAI TB, Maka engkau harus berbicara kepadanya dan menaruh perkataan itu ke dalam mulutnya; Aku akan menyertai lidahmu dan lidahnya dan mengajarkan kepada kamu apa yang harus kamu lakukan.
KJV, And thou shalt speak unto him, and put words in his mouth: and I will be with thy mouth, and with his mouth, and will teach you what ye shall do.

וְדִבַּרְתָּ אֵלָיו וְשַׂמְתָּ אֶת־הַדְּבָרִים בְּפִיו וְאָנֹכִי אֶהְיֶה עִם־פִּיךָ וְעִם־פִּיהוּ וְהֹורֵיתִי אֶתְכֶם אֵת אֲשֶׁר תַּעֲשׂוּן׃

4:16 LAI TB, Ia harus berbicara bagimu kepada bangsa itu, dengan demikian ia akan menjadi penyambung lidahmu dan engkau akan menjadi seperti Allah baginya.
KJV, And he shall be thy spokesman unto the people: and he shall be, even he shall be to thee instead of a mouth, and thou shalt be to him instead of God.

וְדִבֶּר־הוּא לְךָ אֶל־הָעָם וְהָיָה הוּא יִהְיֶה־לְּךָ לְפֶה וְאַתָּה תִּהְיֶה־לֹּו לֵאלֹהִים׃
Translit, VEDIBER-HU LEKHA ‘EL-HA’AM VEHAYAH HU YIHYEH-LEKHA LEFEH VE’ATAH TIHYEH-LO LELOHIM

4:17 LAI TB, Dan bawalah tongkat ini di tanganmu, yang harus kaupakai untuk membuat tanda-tanda mujizat.”
KJV, And thou shalt take this rod in thine hand, wherewith thou shalt do signs.

וְאֶת־הַמַּטֶּה הַזֶּה תִּקַּח בְּיָדֶךָ אֲשֶׁר תַּעֲשֶׂה־בֹּו אֶת־הָאֹתֹת׃ פ

4:18 LAI TB, Lalu Musa kembali kepada mertuanya Yitro serta berkata kepadanya: “Izinkanlah kiranya aku kembali kepada saudara-saudaraku, yang ada di Mesir, untuk melihat apakah mereka masih hidup.” Yitro berkata kepada Musa: “Pergilah dengan selamat.”
KJV, And Moses went and returned to Jethro his father in law, and said unto him, Let me go, I pray thee, and return unto my brethren which are in Egypt, and see whether they be yet alive. And Jethro said to Moses, Go in peace.

וַיֵּלֶךְ מֹשֶׁה וַיָּשָׁב ׀ אֶל־יֶתֶר חֹתְנֹו וַיֹּאמֶר לֹו אֵלְכָה נָּא וְאָשׁוּבָה אֶל־אַחַי אֲשֶׁר־בְּמִצְרַיִם וְאֶרְאֶה הַעֹודָם חַיִּים וַיֹּאמֶר יִתְרֹו לְמֹשֶׁה לֵךְ לְשָׁלֹום׃

4:19 LAI TB, Adapun TUHAN sudah berfirman kepada Musa di Midian: “Kembalilah ke Mesir, sebab semua orang yang ingin mencabut nyawamu telah mati.”
KJV, And the LORD said unto Moses in Midian, Go, return into Egypt: for all the men are dead which sought thy life.

וַיֹּאמֶר יְהוָה אֶל־מֹשֶׁה בְּמִדְיָן לֵךְ שֻׁב מִצְרָיִם כִּי־מֵתוּ כָּל־הָאֲנָשִׁים הַמְבַקְשִׁים אֶת־נַפְשֶׁךָ׃

4:20 LAI TB, Kemudian Musa mengajak isteri dan anak-anaknya lelaki, lalu menaikkan mereka ke atas keledai dan ia kembali ke tanah Mesir; dan tongkat Allah itu dipegangnya di tangannya.
KJV, And Moses took his wife and his sons, and set them upon an ass, and he returned to the land of Egypt: and Moses took the rod of God in his hand.

4:21 LAI TB, Firman TUHAN kepada Musa: “Pada waktu engkau hendak kembali ini ke Mesir, ingatlah, supaya segala mujizat yang telah Kuserahkan ke dalam tanganmu, kauperbuat di depan Firaun. Tetapi Aku akan mengeraskan hatinya, sehingga ia tidak membiarkan bangsa itu pergi.
KJV, And the LORD said unto Moses, When thou goest to return into Egypt, see that thou do all those wonders before Pharaoh, which I have put in thine hand: but I will harden his heart, that he shall not let the people go.

וַיֹּאמֶר יְהוָה אֶל־מֹשֶׁה בְּלֶכְתְּךָ לָשׁוּב מִצְרַיְמָה רְאֵה כָּל־הַמֹּפְתִים אֲשֶׁר־שַׂמְתִּי בְיָדֶךָ וַעֲשִׂיתָם לִפְנֵי פַרְעֹה וַאֲנִי אֲחַזֵּק אֶת־לִבֹּו וְלֹא יְשַׁלַּח אֶת־הָעָם׃

4:22 LAI TB, Maka engkau harus berkata kepada Firaun: Beginilah firman TUHAN: Israel ialah anak-Ku, anak-Ku yang sulung;
KJV, And thou shalt say unto Pharaoh, Thus saith the LORD, Israel is my son, even my firstborn:

וְאָמַרְתָּ אֶל־פַּרְעֹה כֹּה אָמַר יְהוָה בְּנִי בְכֹרִי יִשְׂרָאֵל׃
Translit, VE’AMARTA (dan engkau akan berkata) ‘EL-PAR’OH (kepada Firaun) KOH (demikian) ‘AMAR (firman) YEHOVAH (Tuhan) BENI (anak-Ku) VEKHORI (anak-Ku yang sulung) YISRA’EL (Israel)

4:23 LAI TB, sebab itu Aku berfirman kepadamu: Biarkanlah anak-Ku itu pergi, supaya ia beribadah kepada-Ku; tetapi jika engkau menolak membiarkannya pergi, maka Aku akan membunuh anakmu, anakmu yang sulung.”
KJV, And I say unto thee, Let my son go, that he may serve me: and if thou refuse to let him go, behold, I will slay thy son, even thy firstborn.
Hebrew,
וָאֹמַר אֵלֶיךָ שַׁלַּח אֶת־בְּנִי וְיַעַבְדֵנִי וַתְּמָאֵן לְשַׁלְּחֹו הִנֵּה אָנֹכִי הֹרֵג אֶת־בִּנְךָ בְּכֹרֶךָ׃
Translit,VA’OMAR {dan Aku berfirman} ‘ELEYKHA {kepadamu} SHALAKH ‘ET-BENI {biarkanlah anak-Ku pergi} VEYA’AV’DENI {supaya ia beribadah kepada-Ku} VATEMA’EN {tetapi jika engkau menolak} LESHAL’KHO {untuk membiarkannya pergi} HINEH {sesungguhnya} ‘ANOKHI {Aku} HOREG {membunuh} ‘ET- {pada} BIN’KHA {anakmu} BEKHOREKHA {anak sulungmu}

4:24 LAI TB, Tetapi di tengah jalan, di suatu tempat bermalam, TUHAN bertemu dengan Musa dan berikhtiar untuk membunuhnya.
KJV, And it came to pass by the way in the inn, that the LORD met him, and sought to kill him.
Hebrew,
וַיְהִי בַדֶּרֶךְ בַּמָּלֹון וַיִּפְגְּשֵׁהוּ יְהוָה וַיְבַקֵּשׁ הֲמִיתֹו׃
Translit interlinear, VAYEHI {dan ia menjadi} VADEREKH {di jalan} BAMALON {di penginapan} VAYIFEGESHEHU {dan Dia bertemu dengannya} YEHOVAH {dibaca: ‘Adonay, TUHAN} VAYEVAQESH {dan Dia berikhtiar} HAMITO {untuk membunuhnya}

4:25 LAI TB, Lalu Zipora mengambil pisau batu, dipotongnya kulit khatan anaknya, kemudian disentuhnya dengan kulit itu kaki Musa sambil berkata: “Sesungguhnya engkau pengantin darah bagiku.”
KJV, Then Zipporah took a sharp stone, and cut off the foreskin of her son, and cast it at his feet, and said, Surely a bloody husband art thou to me.

וַתִּקַּח צִפֹּרָה צֹר וַתִּכְרֹת אֶת־עָרְלַת בְּנָהּ וַתַּגַּע לְרַגְלָיו וַתֹּאמֶר כִּי חֲתַן־דָּמִים אַתָּה לִי׃
