KEJADIAN PASAL 20
20:1 LAI TB, Lalu Abraham berangkat dari situ ke Tanah Negeb dan ia menetap antara Kadesh dan Syur. Ia tinggal di Gerar sebagai orang asing.
KJV, And Abraham journeyed from thence toward the south country, and dwelled between Kadesh and Shur, and sojourned in Gerar.

וַיִּסַּע מִשָּׁם אַבְרָהָם אַרְצָה הַנֶּגֶב וַיֵּשֶׁב בֵּין־קָדֵשׁ וּבֵין שׁוּר וַיָּגָר בִּגְרָר׃
Translit, VAYISA MISHAM ‘AV’RAHAM ‘AR’TSAH HANEGEV VAYESHEV BEIN-QADESH UVEIN SHUR VAYAGOR BIGERAR
20:2 LAI TB, Oleh karena Abraham telah mengatakan tentang Sara, isterinya: “Dia saudaraku,” maka Abimelekh, raja Gerar, menyuruh mengambil Sara.
KJV, And Abraham said of Sarah his wife, She is my sister: and Abimelech king of Gerar sent, and took Sarah.

וַיֹּאמֶר אַבְרָהָם אֶל־שָׂרָה אִשְׁתֹּו אֲחֹתִי הִוא וַיִּשְׁלַח אֲבִימֶלֶךְ מֶלֶךְ גְּרָר וַיִּקַּח אֶת־שָׂרָה׃
Translit, VAYOMER ‘AV’RAHAM ‘EL-SARAH ‘ISH’TO ‘AKHOTI HI VAYISH’LAKH ‘AVIMELEKH MELEKH GERAR VAYIQAKH ‘ET-SARAH
20:3 LAI TB, Tetapi pada waktu malam Allah datang kepada Abimelekh dalam suatu mimpi serta berfirman kepadanya: “Engkau harus mati oleh karena perempuan yang telah kauambil itu; sebab ia sudah bersuami.”
KJV, But God came to Abimelech in a dream by night, and said to him, Behold, thou art but a dead man, for the woman which thou hast taken; for she is a man’s wife.

וַיָּבֹא אֱלֹהִים אֶל־אֲבִימֶלֶךְ בַּחֲלֹום הַלָּיְלָה וַיֹּאמֶר לֹו הִנְּךָ מֵת עַל־הָאִשָּׁה אֲשֶׁר־לָקַחְתָּ וְהִוא בְּעֻלַת בָּעַל׃
Translit, VAYAVO ‘ELOHIM ‘EL-‘AVIMELEKH BAKHALOM HALAILAH VAYOMER LO HIN’KHA MET ‘AL-HA’ISHAH ‘ASHER-LAQAKH’TA VEHI BEULAT BA’AL
20:4 LAI TB, Adapun Abimelekh belum menghampiri Sara. Berkatalah ia: “Tuhan! Apakah Engkau membunuh bangsa yang tak bersalah?
KJV, But Abimelech had not come near her: and he said, LORD, wilt thou slay also a righteous nation?

וַאֲבִימֶלֶךְ לֹא קָרַב אֵלֶיהָ וַיֹּאמַר אֲדֹנָי הֲגֹוי גַּם־צַדִּיק תַּהֲרֹג׃
Translit, VA’AVIMELEKH LO QARAV ‘ELEIHA VAYOMAR ‘ADONAY ‘HAGOY GAM-TSADIQ TAHAROG
20:5 LAI TB, Bukankah orang itu sendiri mengatakan kepadaku: Dia saudaraku? Dan perempuan itu sendiri telah mengatakan: Ia saudaraku. Jadi hal ini kulakukan dengan hati yang tulus dan dengan tangan yang suci.”
KJV, Said he not unto me, She is my sister? and she, even she herself said, He is my brother: in the integrity of my heart and innocency of my hands have I done this.

הֲלֹא הוּא אָמַר־לִי אֲחֹתִי הִוא וְהִיא־גַם־הִוא אָמְרָה אָחִי הוּא בְּתָם־לְבָבִי וּבְנִקְיֹן כַּפַּי עָשִׂיתִי זֹאת׃
Translit, HALO HU ‘AMAR-LI ‘AKHOTI HI VEHI-GAM-HI ‘AM’RAH ‘AKHI HU BETOM-LEVAVI UVENIQ’YON KAPAI ‘ASITI ZOT
20:6 LAI TB, Lalu berfirmanlah Allah kepadanya dalam mimpi: “Aku tahu juga, bahwa engkau telah melakukan hal itu dengan hati yang tulus, maka Aku pun telah mencegah engkau untuk berbuat dosa terhadap Aku; sebab itu Aku tidak membiarkan engkau menjamah dia.
KJV, And God said unto him in a dream, Yea, I know that thou didst this in the integrity of thy heart; for I also withheld thee from sinning against me: therefore suffered I thee not to touch her.

וַיֹּאמֶר אֵלָיו הָאֱלֹהִים בַּחֲלֹם גַּם אָנֹכִי יָדַעְתִּי כִּי בְתָם־לְבָבְךָ עָשִׂיתָ זֹּאת וָאֶחְשֹׂךְ גַּם־אָנֹכִי אֹותְךָ מֵחֲטֹו־לִי עַל־כֵּן לֹא־נְתַתִּיךָ לִנְגֹּעַ אֵלֶיהָ׃
Translit, VAYOMER ‘ELAV HA’ELOHIM BAKHALOM GAM ‘ANOKHI YADATI KI VETOM-LEVAV’KHA ‘ASITA ZOT VA’EKH’SHOKH GAM-‘ANOKHI ‘OT’KHA MEKHATO-LI ‘AL-KEN LO-NETATIKHA LIN’GO’A ‘ELEIHA
20:7 LAI TB, Jadi sekarang, kembalikanlah isteri orang itu, sebab dia seorang nabi; ia akan berdoa untuk engkau, maka engkau tetap hidup; tetapi jika engkau tidak mengembalikan dia, ketahuilah, engkau pasti mati, engkau dan semua orang yang bersama-sama dengan engkau.”
KJV, Now therefore restore the man his wife; for he is a prophet, and he shall pray for thee, and thou shalt live: and if thou restore her not, know thou that thou shalt surely die, thou, and all that are thine.
Hebrew,
וְעַתָּה הָשֵׁב אֵשֶׁת־הָאִישׁ כִּי־נָבִיא הוּא וְיִתְפַּלֵּל בַּעַדְךָ וֶחְיֵה וְאִם־אֵינְךָ מֵשִׁיב דַּע כִּי־מֹות תָּמוּת אַתָּה וְכָל־אֲשֶׁר־לָךְ׃
Translit, VEATAH HASHEV ‘ESHET-HAISH KI-NAVI HU VEYIT’PALEL BA’ADEKHA VEKH’YEH VE’IM-‘EN’KHA MESHIV DA KI-MOT TAMUT ‘ATAH VEKHOL-‘ASHER-LAKH
20:8 LAI TB, Keesokan harinya pagi-pagi Abimelekh memanggil semua hambanya dan memberitahukan seluruh peristiwa itu kepada mereka, lalu sangat takutlah orang-orang itu.
KJV, Therefore Abimelech rose early in the morning, and called all his servants, and told all these things in their ears: and the men were sore afraid.

וַיַּשְׁכֵּם אֲבִימֶלֶךְ בַּבֹּקֶר וַיִּקְרָא לְכָל־עֲבָדָיו וַיְדַבֵּר אֶת־כָּל־הַדְּבָרִים הָאֵלֶּה בְּאָזְנֵיהֶם וַיִּירְאוּ הָאֲנָשִׁים מְאֹד׃
Translit, VAYASH’KEM ‘AVIMELEKH BABOQER VAYIQ’RA LEKHOL-‘AVADAV VAYEDABER ‘ET-KOL-HADEVARIM HA’ELEH BE’AZ’NEIHEM VAYIR’U HA’ANASHIM ME’OD
20:9 LAI TB, Kemudian Abimelekh memanggil Abraham dan berkata kepadanya: “Perbuatan apakah yang kaulakukan ini terhadap kami, dan kesalahan apakah yang kulakukan terhadap engkau, sehingga engkau mendatangkan dosa besar atas diriku dan kerajaanku? Engkau telah berbuat hal-hal yang tidak patut kepadaku.”
KJV, Then Abimelech called Abraham, and said unto him, What hast thou done unto us? and what have I offended thee, that thou hast brought on me and on my kingdom a great sin? thou hast done deeds unto me that ought not to be done.

וַיִּקְרָא אֲבִימֶלֶךְ לְאַבְרָהָם וַיֹּאמֶר לֹו מֶה־עָשִׂיתָ לָּנוּ וּמֶה־חָטָאתִי לָךְ כִּי־הֵבֵאתָ עָלַי וְעַל־מַמְלַכְתִּי חֲטָאָה גְדֹלָה מַעֲשִׂים אֲשֶׁר לֹא־יֵעָשׂוּ עָשִׂיתָ עִמָּדִי׃
Translit, VAYIQ’RA ‘AVIMELEKH LE’AV’RAHAM VAYOMER LO MEH-‘ASITA LANU UMEH-KHATATI LAKH KI-HEVETA ‘ALAI VE’AL-MAM’LAKH’TI KHATA’AH GEDOLAH MA’ASIM ‘ASHER LO-YE’ASU ‘ASITA ‘IMADI
20:10 LAI TB, Lagi kata Abimelekh kepada Abraham: “Apakah maksudmu, maka engkau melakukan hal ini?”
KJV, And Abimelech said unto Abraham, What sawest thou, that thou hast done this thing?

וַיֹּאמֶר אֲבִימֶלֶךְ אֶל־אַבְרָהָם מָה רָאִיתָ כִּי עָשִׂיתָ אֶת־הַדָּבָר הַזֶּה׃
Translit, VAYOMER ‘AVIMELEKH ‘EL-‘AV’RAHAM MAH RA’ITA KI ‘ASITA ‘ET-HADAVAR HAZEH
20:11 LAI TB, Lalu Abraham berkata: “Aku berpikir: Takut akan Allah tidak ada di tempat ini; tentulah aku akan dibunuh karena isteriku.
KJV, And Abraham said, Because I thought, Surely the fear of God is not in this place; and they will slay me for my wife’s sake.

וַיֹּאמֶר אַבְרָהָם כִּי אָמַרְתִּי רַק אֵין־יִרְאַת אֱלֹהִים בַּמָּקֹום הַזֶּה וַהֲרָגוּנִי עַל־דְּבַר אִשְׁתִּי׃
Translit, VAYOMER ‘AV’RAHAM KI ‘AMAR’TI RAQ ‘EIN-YIR’AT ‘ELOHIM BAMAQOM HAZEH VAHARAGUNI ‘AL-DEVAR ‘ISH’TI
20:12 LAI TB, Lagipula ia benar-benar saudaraku, anak ayahku, hanya bukan anak ibuku, tetapi kemudian ia menjadi isteriku.
KJV, And yet indeed she is my sister; she is the daughter of my father, but not the daughter of my mother; and she became my wife.

וְגַם־אָמְנָה אֲחֹתִי בַת־אָבִי הִוא אַךְ לֹא בַת־אִמִּי וַתְּהִי־לִי לְאִשָּׁה׃
Translit, VEGAM-‘OM’NAH ‘AKHOTI VAT-‘AVI HI ‘AKH LO VAT-‘IMI VATEHI-LI LEISHAH
20:13 LAI TB, Ketika Allah menyuruh aku mengembara keluar dari rumah ayahku, berkatalah aku kepada isteriku: Tunjukkanlah kasihmu kepadaku, yakni: katakanlah tentang aku di tiap-tiap tempat di mana kita tiba: Ia saudaraku.”
KJV, And it came to pass, when God caused me to wander from my father’s house, that I said unto her, This is thy kindness which thou shalt shew unto me; at every place whither we shall come, say of me, He is my brother.

וַיְהִי כַּאֲשֶׁר הִתְעוּ אֹתִי אֱלֹהִים מִבֵּית אָבִי וָאֹמַר לָהּ זֶה חַסְדֵּךְ אֲשֶׁר תַּעֲשִׂי עִמָּדִי אֶל כָּל־הַמָּקֹום אֲשֶׁר נָבֹוא שָׁמָּה אִמְרִי־לִי אָחִי הוּא׃
Translit, VAYEHI KA’ASHER HIT’U ‘OTI ‘ELOHIM MIBEIT ‘AVI VA’OMAR LAH ZEH KHAS’DEKH ASHER TA’ASI ‘IMADI ‘EL KOL-HAMAQOM ‘ASHER NAVO SHAMAH ‘IM’RI-LI ‘AKHI HU
20:14 LAI TB, Kemudian Abimelekh mengambil kambing domba dan lembu sapi, hamba laki-laki dan perempuan, lalu memberikan semuanya itu kepada Abraham; Sara, isteri Abraham, juga dikembalikannya kepadanya.
KJV, And Abimelech took sheep, and oxen, and menservants, and womenservants, and gave them unto Abraham, and restored him Sarah his wife.

וַיִּקַּח אֲבִימֶלֶךְ צֹאן וּבָקָר וַעֲבָדִים וּשְׁפָחֹת וַיִּתֵּן לְאַבְרָהָם וַיָּשֶׁב לֹו אֵת שָׂרָה אִשְׁתֹּו׃
Translit, VAYIQAKH ‘AVIMELEKH TSON UVAQAR VA’AVADIM USHEFAKHOT VAYITEN LE’AV’RAHAM VAYASHEV LO ‘ET SARAH ‘ISH’TO
20:15 LAI TB, Dan Abimelekh berkata: “Negeriku ini terbuka untuk engkau; menetaplah, di mana engkau suka.”
KJV, And Abimelech said, Behold, my land is before thee: dwell where it pleaseth thee.

וַיֹּאמֶר אֲבִימֶלֶךְ הִנֵּה אַרְצִי לְפָנֶיךָ בַּטֹּוב בְּעֵינֶיךָ שֵׁב׃
Translit, VAYOMER ‘AVIMELEKH HINEH ‘AR’TSI LEFANEIKHA BATOV BE’EINEIKHA SHEV
20:16 LAI TB, Lalu katanya kepada Sara: “Telah kuberikan kepada saudaramu seribu syikal perak, itulah bukti kesucianmu bagi semua orang yang bersama-sama dengan engkau. Maka dalam segala hal engkau dibenarkan.”
KJV, And unto Sarah he said, Behold, I have given thy brother a thousand pieces of silver: behold, he is to thee a covering of the eyes, unto all that are with thee, and with all other: thus she was reproved.

וּלְשָׂרָה אָמַר הִנֵּה נָתַתִּי אֶלֶף כֶּסֶף לְאָחִיךְ הִנֵּה הוּא־לָךְ כְּסוּת עֵינַיִם לְכֹל אֲשֶׁר אִתָּךְ וְאֵת כֹּל וְנֹכָחַת׃
Translit, ULESARAH ‘AMAR HINEH NATATI ‘ELEF KESEF LE’AKHIKH HINEH HU-LAKH KESUT ‘EINAYIM LEKHOL ‘ASHER ‘ITAKH VE’ET-KOL VENOKHAKHAT
20:17 LAI TB, Lalu Abraham berdoa kepada Allah, dan Allah menyembuhkan Abimelekh dan isterinya dan budak-budaknya perempuan, sehingga mereka melahirkan anak.
KJV, So Abraham prayed unto God: and God healed Abimelech, and his wife, and his maidservants; and they bare children.

וַיִּתְפַּלֵּל אַבְרָהָם אֶל־הָאֱלֹהִים וַיִּרְפָּא אֱלֹהִים אֶת־אֲבִימֶלֶךְ וְאֶת־אִשְׁתֹּו וְאַמְהֹתָיו וַיֵּלֵדוּ׃
Translit, VAYIT’PALEL ‘AV’RAHAM ‘EL-HA’ELOHIM VAYIR’PA ‘ELOHIM ‘ET-‘AVIMELEKH VE’ET-‘ISH’TO VE’AM’HOTAV VAYELEDU
20:18 LAI TB, Sebab tadinya TUHAN telah menutup kandungan setiap perempuan di istana Abimelekh karena Sara, isteri Abraham itu.
KJV, For the LORD had fast closed up all the wombs of the house of Abimelech, because of Sarah Abraham’s wife.

כִּי־עָצֹר עָצַר יְהוָה בְּעַד כָּל־רֶחֶם לְבֵית אֲבִימֶלֶךְ עַל־דְּבַר שָׂרָה אֵשֶׁת אַבְרָהָם׃ ס
