BILANGAN PASAL 24

24:1 LAI TB, Ketika dilihat Bileam, bahwa baik di mata TUHAN untuk memberkati Israel, ia tidak mencarikan pertanda lagi seperti yang sudah-sudah, tetapi ia menghadapkan mukanya ke arah padang gurun.
KJV, 1And when Balaam saw that it pleased the LORD to bless Israel, he went not, as at other times, to seek for enchantments, but he set his face toward the wilderness.

24:2 LAI TB, Ketika Bileam memandang ke depan dan melihat orang Israel berkemah menurut suku mereka, maka Roh Allah menghinggapi dia.
KJV, And Balaam lifted up his eyes, and he saw Israel abiding in his tents according to their tribes; and the spirit of God came upon him.

וַיִּשָּׂא בִלְעָם אֶת־עֵינָיו וַיַּרְא אֶת־יִשְׂרָאֵל שֹׁכֵן לִשְׁבָטָיו וַתְּהִי עָלָיו רוּחַ אֱלֹהִים׃

24:3 LAI TB, Lalu diucapkannyalah sanjaknya, katanya: “Tutur kata Bileam bin Beor, tutur kata orang yang terbuka matanya;
KJV, And he took up his parable, and said, Balaam the son of Beor hath said, and the man whose eyes are open hath said:

וַיִּשָּׂא מְשָׁלֹו וַיֹּאמַר נְאֻם בִּלְעָם בְּנֹו בְעֹר וּנְאֻם הַגֶּבֶר שְׁתֻם הָעָיִן׃
Translit, VAYISA MESYALO VAYOMAR NE’UM BIL’AM BENO VE’OR UNE’UM HAGEVER SYETUM HA’AYIN:

24:4 LAI TB, tutur kata orang yang mendengar firman Allah, yang melihat penglihatan dari Yang Mahakuasa sambil rebah, namun dengan mata tersingkap.
KJV, He hath said, which heard the words of God, which saw the vision of the Almighty, falling into a trance, but having his eyes open:

נְאֻם שֹׁמֵעַ אִמְרֵי־אֵל אֲשֶׁר מַחֲזֵה שַׁדַּי יֶחֱזֶה נֹפֵל וּגְלוּי עֵינָיִם׃

24:5 LAI TB, Alangkah indahnya kemah-kemahmu, hai Yakub, dan tempat-tempat kediamanmu, hai Israel!
KJV, How goodly are thy tents, O Jacob, and thy tabernacles, O Israel!

מַה־טֹּבוּ אֹהָלֶיךָ יַעֲקֹב מִשְׁכְּנֹתֶיךָ יִשְׂרָאֵל׃
Translit, MAH-TOVU ‘OHALEIKHA YA’AQOV MISYKENOTEIKHA YISRA’EL

24:6 LAI TB, Sebagai lembah yang membentang semuanya; sebagai taman di tepi sungai; sebagai pohon gaharu yang ditanam TUHAN; sebagai pohon aras di tepi air.
KJV, As the valleys are they spread forth, as gardens by the river’s side, as the trees of lign aloes which the LORD hath planted, and as cedar trees beside the waters.

כִּנְחָלִים נִטָּיוּ כְּגַנֹּת עֲלֵי נָהָר כַּאֲהָלִים נָטַע יְהוָה כַּאֲרָזִים עֲלֵי־מָיִם׃

24:7 LAI TB, Air mengalir dari timbanya, dan benihnya mendapat air banyak-banyak. Rajanya akan naik tinggi melebihi Agag, dan kerajaannya akan dimuliakan.
KJV, He shall pour the water out of his buckets, and his seed shall be in many waters, and his king shall be higher than Agag, and his kingdom shall be exalted.
Hebrew,
יִזַּל־מַיִם מִדָּלְיָו וְזַרְעֹו בְּמַיִם רַבִּים וְיָרֹם מֵאֲגַג מַלְכֹּו וְתִנַּשֵּׂא מַלְכֻתֹו׃

24:8 LAI TB, Allah, yang membawa mereka keluar dari Mesir, adalah bagi mereka seperti tanduk kekuatan lembu hutan. Bangsa-bangsa yang menjadi lawannya akan ditelannya habis, dan tulang-tulang mereka akan dihancurkannya dan akan ditembaknya tembus dengan panah-panahnya.
KJV, God brought him forth out of Egypt; he hath as it were the strength of an unicorn: he shall eat up the nations his enemies, and shall break their bones, and pierce them through with his arrows.

אֵל מֹוצִיאֹו מִמִּצְרַיִם כְּתֹועֲפֹת רְאֵם לֹו יֹאכַל גֹּויִם צָרָיו וְעַצְמֹתֵיהֶם יְגָרֵם וְחִצָּיו יִמְחָץ׃

24:9 LAI TB, Ia meniarap dan merebahkan diri sebagai singa jantan, dan sebagai singa betina; siapakah yang berani membangunkannya? Diberkatilah orang yang memberkati engkau, dan terkutuklah orang yang mengutuk engkau!”
KJV, He couched, he lay down as a lion, and as a great lion: who shall stir him up? Blessed is he that blesseth thee, and cursed is he that curseth thee.

כָּרַע שָׁכַב כַּאֲרִי וּכְלָבִיא מִי יְקִימֶנּוּ מְבָרֲכֶיךָ בָרוּךְ וְאֹרְרֶיךָ אָרוּר׃
Translit, KARA SYAKHAV KA’ARI UKHELAVI MI YEQIMENU MEVARKHEIKHA VARUKH VE’ORREIKHA ‘ARUR

24:10 LAI TB, Lalu bangkitlah amarah Balak terhadap Bileam dan dengan meremas-remas jarinya berkatalah ia kepada Bileam: “Untuk menyerapah musuhku aku memanggil engkau, tetapi sebaliknya sampai tiga kali engkau memberkati mereka.
KJV, And Balak’s anger was kindled against Balaam, and he smote his hands together: and Balak said unto Balaam, I called thee to curse mine enemies, and, behold, thou hast altogether blessed them these three times.

וַיִּחַר־אַף בָּלָק אֶל־בִּלְעָם וַיִּסְפֹּק אֶת־כַּפָּיו וַיֹּאמֶר בָּלָק אֶל־בִּלְעָם לָקֹב אֹיְבַי קְרָאתִיךָ וְהִנֵּה בֵּרַכְתָּ בָרֵךְ זֶה שָׁלֹשׁ פְּעָמִים׃

24:11 LAI TB, Oleh sebab itu, enyahlah engkau ke tempat kediamanmu; aku telah berkata kepadamu aku telah bermaksud memberi banyak upah kepadamu, tetapi TUHAN telah mencegah engkau memperolehnya.”
KJV, Therefore now flee thou to thy place: I thought to promote thee unto great honour; but, lo, the LORD hath kept thee back from honour.

וְעַתָּה בְּרַח־לְךָ אֶל־מְקֹומֶךָ אָמַרְתִּי כַּבֵּד אֲכַבֶּדְךָ וְהִנֵּה מְנָעֲךָ יְהוָה מִכָּבֹוד׃

24:12 LAI TB, Tetapi berkatalah Bileam kepada Balak: “Bukankah telah kukatakan juga kepada utusan-utusan yang kaukirim kepadaku:
KJV, And Balaam said unto Balak, Spake I not also to thy messengers which thou sentest unto me, saying,

וַיֹּאמֶר בִּלְעָם אֶל־בָּלָק הֲלֹא גַּם אֶל־מַלְאָכֶיךָ אֲשֶׁר־שָׁלַחְתָּ אֵלַי דִּבַּרְתִּי לֵאמֹר׃
Translit, VAYOMER BIL’AM ‘EL-BALAQ HALO GAM ‘EL-MALAKHEIKHA ‘ASYERO-SYALAKHTA ‘ELAY DIBARTI LEMOR

24:13 LAI TB, Sekalipun Balak memberikan kepadaku emas dan perak seistana penuh, aku tidak akan sanggup melanggar titah TUHAN dengan berbuat baik atau jahat atas kemauanku sendiri; apa yang akan difirmankan TUHAN, itulah yang akan kukatakan.
KJV, If Balak would give me his house full of silver and gold, I cannot go beyond the commandment of the LORD, to do either good or bad of mine own mind; but what the LORD saith, that will I speak?

24:14 LAI TB, Dan sekarang, aku ini sudah hendak pergi kepada bangsaku; marilah kuberitahukan kepadamu apa yang akan dilakukan bangsa itu kepada bangsamu di kemudian hari.”
KJV, And now, behold, I go unto my people: come therefore, and I will advertise thee what this people shall do to thy people in the latter days.

וְעַתָּה הִנְנִי הֹולֵךְ לְעַמִּי לְכָה אִיעָצְךָ אֲשֶׁר יַעֲשֶׂה הָעָם הַזֶּה לְעַמְּךָ בְּאַחֲרִית הַיָּמִים׃

24:17 LAI TB, Aku melihat dia, tetapi bukan sekarang; aku memandang dia, tetapi bukan dari dekat; bintang terbit dari Yakub, tongkat kerajaan timbul dari Israel, dan meremukkan pelipis-pelipis Moab, dan menghancurkan semua anak Set.
KJV, I shall see him, but not now: I shall behold him, but not nigh: there shall come a Star out of Jacob, and a Sceptre shall rise out of Israel, and shall smite the corners of Moab, and destroy all the children of Sheth.

24:18 LAI TB, Maka Edom akan menjadi tanah pendudukan dan Seir akan menjadi tanah pendudukan–musuh-musuhnya itu. Tetapi Israel akan melakukan perbuatan-perbuatan yang gagah perkasa,
KJV, And Edom shall be a possession, Seir also shall be a possession for his enemies; and Israel shall do valiantly.
Hebrew,
וְהָיָה אֱדֹום יְרֵשָׁה וְהָיָה יְרֵשָׁה שֵׂעִיר אֹיְבָיו וְיִשְׂרָאֵל עֹשֶׂה חָיִל׃

24:19 LAI TB, dan dari Yakub akan timbul seorang penguasa, yang akan membinasakan orang-orang yang melarikan diri dari kota.”
KJV, Out of Jacob shall come he that shall have dominion, and shall destroy him that remaineth of the city.

וְיֵרְדְּ מִיַּעֲקֹב וְהֶאֱבִיד שָׂרִיד מֵעִיר׃

24:20 LAI TB, Ketika ia melihat orang Amalek, diucapkannyalah sanjaknya, katanya: “Yang pertama di antara bangsa-bangsa ialah Amalek, tetapi akhirnya ia akan sampai kepada kebinasaan.”
KJV, And when he looked on Amalek, he took up his parable, and said, Amalek was the first of the nations; but his latter end shall be that he perish for ever.

וַיַּרְא אֶת־עֲמָלֵק וַיִּשָּׂא מְשָׁלֹו וַיֹּאמַר רֵאשִׁית גֹּויִם עֲמָלֵק וְאַחֲרִיתֹו עֲדֵי אֹבֵד׃

24:21 LAI TB, Ketika ia melihat orang Keni, diucapkannyalah sanjaknya, katanya: “Kokoh tempat kediamanmu, tertaruh di atas bukit batu sarangmu,
KJV, And he looked on the Kenites, and took up his parable, and said, Strong is thy dwellingplace, and thou puttest thy nest in a rock.

וַיַּרְא אֶת־הַקֵּינִי וַיִּשָּׂא מְשָׁלֹו וַיֹּאמַר אֵיתָן מֹושָׁבֶךָ וְשִׂים בַּסֶּלַע קִנֶּךָ׃
Translit, VAYAR ‘ET-HAQEINI VAYISA MESYALO VAYOMAR ‘EITAN MO’OSYAVEKHA VESIM BASELA QINEKHA

24:22 LAI TB, namun orang Keni akan hapus; berapa lama lagi maka Asyur akan menawan engkau?”
KJV, Nevertheless the Kenite shall be wasted, until Asshur shall carry thee away captive.

כִּי אִם־יִהְיֶה לְבָעֵר קָיִן עַד־מָה אַשּׁוּר תִּשְׁבֶּךָּ׃

24:23 LAI TB, Diucapkannyalah juga sanjaknya, katanya: “Celaka! Siapakah yang akan hidup, apabila Allah melakukan hal itu?
KJV, And he took up his parable, and said, Alas, who shall live when God doeth this!

וַיִּשָּׂא מְשָׁלֹו וַיֹּאמַר אֹוי מִי יִחְיֶה מִשֻּׂמֹו אֵל׃
Translit, VAYISA MESYALO VAYOMAR ‘OI MI YIKHYEH MISUMO ‘EL

24:24 LAI TB, Tetapi kapal-kapal akan datang dari pantai orang Kitim, mereka akan menindas Asyur dan menindas Heber, lalu iapun juga akan sampai kepada kebinasaan.”
KJV, And ships shall come from the coast of Chittim, and shall afflict Asshur, and shall afflict Eber, and he also shall perish for ever.

וְצִים מִיַּד כִּתִּים וְעִנּוּ אַשּׁוּר וְעִנּוּ־עֵבֶר וְגַם־הוּא עֲדֵי אֹבֵד׃

24:25 LAI TB, Lalu bersiaplah Bileam dan pulang ke tempat kediamannya; dan Balakpun pergilah juga.
KJV, And Balaam rose up, and went and returned to his place: and Balak also went his way.
