18:1 LAI TB, Kemudian TUHAN menampakkan diri kepada Abraham dekat pohon tarbantin di Mamre, sedang ia duduk di pintu kemahnya waktu hari panas terik.
KJV, And the LORD appeared unto him in the plains of Mamre: and he sat in the tent door in the heat of the day;
Hebrew,
וַיֵּרָא אֵלָיו יְהוָה בְּאֵלֹנֵי מַמְרֵא וְהוּא יֹשֵׁב פֶּתַח־הָאֹהֶל כְּחֹם הַיֹּום׃
Translit, VAYERA ‘ELAV YEHOVAH (Baca ‘Adonay) BE’ELONEY MAM’RE VEHU YOSYEV PETAKH-HA’OHEL KEKHOM HAYOM

18:2 LAI TB, Ketika ia mengangkat mukanya, ia melihat tiga orang berdiri di depannya. Sesudah dilihatnya mereka, ia berlari dari pintu kemahnya menyongsong mereka, lalu sujudlah ia sampai ke tanah,
KJV, And he lift up his eyes and looked, and, lo, three men stood by him: and when he saw them, he ran to meet them from the tent door, and bowed himself toward the ground,
Hebrew,
וַיִּשָּׂא עֵינָיו וַיַּרְא וְהִנֵּה שְׁלֹשָׁה אֲנָשִׁים נִצָּבִים עָלָיו וַיַּרְא וַיָּרָץ לִקְרָאתָם מִפֶּתַח הָאֹהֶל וַיִּשְׁתַּחוּ אָרְצָה׃
Translit, VAYISA ‘EINAV VAYAR VEHINEH SHELOSHAH ‘ANASHIM NITSAVIM ‘ALAV VAYAR VAYAROTS LIQ’RATAM MIPETAKH HA’OHEL VAYISH’TAKHU ‘AR’TSAH

18:3 LAI TB, serta berkata: “Tuanku, jika aku telah mendapat kasih tuanku, janganlah kiranya lampaui hambamu ini.
KJV, And said, My LORD, if now I have found favour in thy sight, pass not away, I pray thee, from thy servant:
Hebrew,
וַיֹּאמַר אֲדֹנָי אִם־נָא מָצָאתִי חֵן בְּעֵינֶיךָ אַל־נָא תַעֲבֹר מֵעַל עַבְדֶּךָ׃
Translit, VAYOMAR ‘ADONAY ‘IM-NA MATSATI KHEN BE’EINEIKHA ‘AL-NA TA’AVOR ME’AL ‘AV’DEKHA

18:4 LAI TB, Biarlah diambil air sedikit, basuhlah kakimu dan duduklah beristirahat di bawah pohon ini;
KJV, Let a little water, I pray you, be fetched, and wash your feet, and rest yourselves under the tree:
Hebrew,
יֻקַּח־נָא מְעַט־מַיִם וְרַחֲצוּ רַגְלֵיכֶם וְהִשָּׁעֲנוּ תַּחַת הָעֵץ׃
Translit, YUQAKH-NA ME’AT-MAYIM VERAKHATSU RAG’LEIKHEM VEHISHA’ANU TAKHAT HA’ETS

18:5 LAI TB, biarlah kuambil sepotong roti, supaya tuan-tuan segar kembali; kemudian bolehlah tuan-tuan meneruskan perjalanannya; sebab tuan-tuan telah datang ke tempat hambamu ini.” Jawab mereka: “Perbuatlah seperti yang kaukatakan itu.”
KJV, And I will fetch a morsel of bread, and comfort ye your hearts; after that ye shall pass on: for therefore are ye come to your servant. And they said, So do, as thou hast said.
Hebrew,
וְאֶקְחָה פַת־לֶחֶם וְסַעֲדוּ לִבְּכֶם אַחַר תַּעֲבֹרוּ כִּי־עַל־כֵּן עֲבַרְתֶּם עַל־עַבְדְּכֶם וַיֹּאמְרוּ כֵּן תַּעֲשֶׂה כַּאֲשֶׁר דִּבַּרְתָּ׃
Translit, VE’EQEKHAH FAT-LEKHEM VESA’ADU LIBEKHEM ‘AKHAR TA’AVORU KI-‘AL-KEN ‘AVAR’TEM ‘AL-‘AV’DEKHEM VAYOM’RU KEN TA’ASEH KA’ASHER DIBAR’TA

18:6 LAI TB, Lalu Abraham segera pergi ke kemah mendapatkan Sara serta berkata: “Segeralah! Ambil tiga sukat tepung yang terbaik! Remaslah itu dan buatlah roti bundar!”
KJV, And Abraham hastened into the tent unto Sarah, and said, Make ready quickly three measures of fine meal, knead it, and make cakes upon the hearth.
Hebrew,
וַיְמַהֵר אַבְרָהָם הָאֹהֱלָה אֶל־שָׂרָה וַיֹּאמֶר מַהֲרִי שְׁלֹשׁ סְאִים קֶמַח סֹלֶת לוּשִׁי וַעֲשִׂי עֻגֹות׃
Translit, VAYEMAHER ‘AV’RAHAM HA’OHELAH ‘EL-SARAH VAYOMER MAHARI SHELOSH SE’IM QEMAKH SOLET LUSHI VA’ASI UGOT

18:7 LAI TB, Lalu berlarilah Abraham kepada lembu sapinya, ia mengambil seekor anak lembu yang empuk dan baik dagingnya dan memberikannya kepada seorang bujangnya, lalu orang ini segera mengolahnya.
KJV, And Abraham ran unto the herd, and fetcht a calf tender and good, and gave it unto a young man; and he hasted to dress it.
Hebrew,
וְאֶל־הַבָּקָר רָץ אַבְרָהָם וַיִּקַּח בֶּן־בָּקָר רַךְ וָטֹוב וַיִּתֵּן אֶל־הַנַּעַר וַיְמַהֵר לַעֲשֹׂות אֹתֹו׃
Translit, VE’EL-HABAQAR RATS ‘AV’RAHAM VAYIQAKH BEN-BAQAR RAKH VATOV VAYITEN ‘EL-HANA’AR VAYEMAHER LA’ASOT ‘OTO’

18:8 LAI TB, Kemudian diambilnya dadih dan susu serta anak lembu yang telah diolah itu, lalu dihidangkannya di depan orang-orang itu; dan ia berdiri di dekat mereka di bawah pohon itu, sedang mereka makan.
KJV, And he took butter, and milk, and the calf which he had dressed, and set it before them; and he stood by them under the tree, and they did eat.
Hebrew,
וַיִּקַּח חֶמְאָה וְחָלָב וּבֶן־הַבָּקָר אֲשֶׁר עָשָׂה וַיִּתֵּן לִפְנֵיהֶם וְהוּא־עֹמֵד עֲלֵיהֶם תַּחַת הָעֵץ וַיֹּאכֵלוּ׃
Translit, VAYIQAKH KHEM’AH VEKHALAV UVEN-HABAQAR ‘ASHER ‘ASAH VAYITEN LIF’NEIHEM VEHU ‘OMED ‘ALEIHEM TAKHAT HA’ETS VAYOKHELU

18:9 LAI TB, Lalu kata mereka kepadanya: “Di manakah Sara, isterimu?” Jawabnya: “Di sana, di dalam kemah.”
KJV, And they said unto him, Where is Sarah thy wife? And he said, Behold, in the tent.
Hebrew,
וַיֹּאמְרוּ אֵלָיו אַיֵּה שָׂרָה אִשְׁתֶּךָ וַיֹּאמֶר הִנֵּה בָאֹהֶל׃
Translit, VAYOM’RU ‘ELAV ‘AYEH SARAH ‘ISH’TEKHA VAYOMER HINEH VA’OHEL

18:10 LAI TB, Dan firman-Nya: “Sesungguhnya Aku akan kembali tahun depan mendapatkan engkau, pada waktu itulah Sara, isterimu, akan mempunyai seorang anak laki-laki.” Dan Sara mendengarkan pada pintu kemah yang di belakang-Nya.
KJV, And he said, I will certainly return unto thee according to the time of life; and, lo, Sarah thy wife shall have a son. And Sarah heard it in the tent door, which was behind him.
Hebrew,
וַיֹּאמֶר שֹׁוב אָשׁוּב אֵלֶיךָ כָּעֵת חַיָּה וְהִנֵּה־בֵן לְשָׂרָה אִשְׁתֶּךָ וְשָׂרָה שֹׁמַעַת פֶּתַח הָאֹהֶל וְהוּא אַחֲרָיו׃
Translit, VAYOMER SHOV ‘ASHUV ‘ELEIKHA KA’ET KHAYAH VEHINEH-VEN LESARAH ‘ISH’TEKHA VESARAH SHOMA’AT PETAKH HA’OHEL VEHU ‘AKHARAV

18:11 LAI TB, Adapun Abraham dan Sara telah tua dan lanjut umurnya dan Sara telah mati haid.
KJV, Now Abraham and Sarah were old and well stricken in age; and it ceased to be with Sarah after the manner of women.
Hebrew,
וְאַבְרָהָם וְשָׂרָה זְקֵנִים בָּאִים בַּיָּמִים חָדַל לִהְיֹות לְשָׂרָה אֹרַח כַּנָּשִׁים׃
Translit, VE’AV’RAHAM VESARAH ZEQENIM BA’IM BAYAMIM KHADAL LIH’YOT LESARAH ‘ORAKH KANASHIM

18:12 LAI TB, Jadi tertawalah Sara dalam hatinya, katanya: “Akan berahikah aku, setelah aku sudah layu, sedangkan tuanku sudah tua?”
KJV, Therefore Sarah laughed within herself, saying, After I am waxed old shall I have pleasure, my lord being old also?
Hebrew,
וַתִּצְחַק שָׂרָה בְּקִרְבָּהּ לֵאמֹר אַחֲרֵי בְלֹתִי הָיְתָה־לִּי עֶדְנָה וַאדֹנִי זָקֵן׃
Translit, VATITS’KHAQ SARAH BEQIR’BAH LEMOR ‘AKHAREY VELOTI HAITAH-LI ‘ED’NAH VADONI ZAQEN

18:13 LAI TB, Lalu berfirmanlah TUHAN kepada Abraham: “Mengapakah Sara tertawa dan berkata: Sungguhkah aku akan melahirkan anak, sedangkan aku telah tua?
KJV, And the LORD said unto Abraham, Wherefore did Sarah laugh, saying, Shall I of a surety bear a child, which am old?
Hebrew,
וַיֹּאמֶר יְהוָה אֶל־אַבְרָהָם לָמָּה זֶּה צָחֲקָה שָׂרָה לֵאמֹר הַאַף אֻמְנָם אֵלֵד וַאֲנִי זָקַנְתִּי׃
Translit, VAYOMER YEHOVAH (dibaca: ‘Adonay) ‘EL-‘AV’RAHAM LAMAH ZEH TSAKHAQAH SARAH LEMOR HA’AF UM’NAM ‘ELED VA’ANI ZAKAN’TI

18:14 LAI TB, Adakah sesuatu apa pun yang mustahil untuk TUHAN? Pada waktu yang telah ditetapkan itu, tahun depan, Aku akan kembali mendapatkan engkau, pada waktu itulah Sara mempunyai seorang anak laki-laki.”
KJV, Is any thing too hard for the LORD? At the time appointed I will return unto thee, according to the time of life, and Sarah shall have a son.
Hebrew,
הֲיִפָּלֵא מֵיְהוָה דָּבָר לַמֹּועֵד אָשׁוּב אֵלֶיךָ כָּעֵת חַיָּה וּלְשָׂרָה בֵן׃
Translit, HAYIPALE ME’YEHOVAH (dibaca: Me’Adonay) DAVAR LAMO’ED ‘ASHUV ‘ELEIKHA KA’ET KHAYAH ULESARAH VEN

18:15 LAI TB, Lalu Sara menyangkal, katanya: “Aku tidak tertawa,” sebab ia takut; tetapi TUHAN berfirman: “Tidak, memang engkau tertawa!”
KJV, Then Sarah denied, saying, I laughed not; for she was afraid. And he said, Nay; but thou didst laugh.
Hebrew,
וַתְּכַחֵשׁ שָׂרָה ׀ לֵאמֹר לֹא צָחַקְתִּי כִּי ׀ יָרֵאָה וַיֹּאמֶר ׀ לֹא כִּי צָחָקְתְּ׃
Translit, VATEKHAKHESH SARAH LEMOR LO TSAKHAQ’TI KI YARE’AH VAYOMER LO KI TSAKHAQ’TE

18:16 LAI TB, Lalu berangkatlah orang-orang itu dari situ dan memandang ke arah Sodom; dan Abraham berjalan bersama-sama dengan mereka untuk mengantarkan mereka.
KJV, And the men rose up from thence, and looked toward Sodom: and Abraham went with them to bring them on the way.
Hebrew,
וַיָּקֻמוּ מִשָּׁם הָאֲנָשִׁים וַיַּשְׁקִפוּ עַל־פְּנֵי סְדֹם וְאַבְרָהָם הֹלֵךְ עִמָּם לְשַׁלְּחָם׃
Translit, VAYAQUMU MISHAM HA’ANASHIM VAYASH’QIFU ‘AL-PENEY SEDOM VE’AV’RAHAM HOLEKH ‘IMAM LESHALEKHAM

18:17 LAI TB, Berpikirlah TUHAN: “Apakah Aku akan menyembunyikan kepada Abraham apa yang hendak Kulakukan ini?
KJV, And the LORD said, Shall I hide from Abraham that thing which I do;
Hebrew,
וַיהֹוָה אָמָר הַמְכַסֶּה אֲנִי מֵאַבְרָהָם אֲשֶׁר אֲנִי עֹשֶׂה׃
Translit, VA’YEHOVAH (dibaca: V’Adonay) ‘AMAR HAMAKHASEH ‘ANI ME’AV’RAHAM ‘ASHER ‘ANI ‘OSEH

18:18 LAI TB, Bukankah sesungguhnya Abraham akan menjadi bangsa yang besar serta berkuasa, dan oleh dia segala bangsa di atas bumi akan mendapat berkat?
KJV, Seeing that Abraham shall surely become a great and mighty nation, and all the nations of the earth shall be blessed in him?
Hebrew,
וְאַבְרָהָם הָיֹו יִהְיֶה לְגֹוי גָּדֹול וְעָצוּם וְנִבְרְכוּ בֹו כֹּל גֹּויֵי הָאָרֶץ׃
Translit, VE’AV’RAHAM HAYO YIH’YEH LEGOY GADOL VE’ATSUM VENIV’REKHU VO KOL GOYEY HA’ARETS

18:19 LAI TB, Sebab Aku telah memilih dia, supaya diperintahkannya kepada anak-anaknya dan kepada keturunannya supaya tetap hidup menurut jalan yang ditunjukkan TUHAN, dengan melakukan kebenaran dan keadilan, dan supaya TUHAN memenuhi kepada Abraham apa yang dijanjikan-Nya kepadanya.”
KJV, For I know him, that he will command his children and his household after him, and they shall keep the way of the LORD, to do justice and judgment; that the LORD may bring upon Abraham that which he hath spoken of him.
Hebrew,
כִּי יְדַעְתִּיו לְמַעַן אֲשֶׁר יְצַוֶּה אֶת־בָּנָיו וְאֶת־בֵּיתֹו אַחֲרָיו וְשָׁמְרוּ דֶּרֶךְ יְהוָה לַעֲשֹׂות צְדָקָה וּמִשְׁפָּט לְמַעַן הָבִיא יְהוָה עַל־אַבְרָהָם אֵת אֲשֶׁר־דִּבֶּר עָלָיו׃
Translit, KI YEDA’ATIV LEMA’AN ‘ASHER YETSAVEH ‘ET-BANAV VE’ET-BEITO ‘AKHARAV VESHAM’RU DEREKH YEHOVAH (dibaca: ‘Adonay) LA’ASOT TSEDAQAH UMISH’PAT LEMA’AN HAVI YEHOVAH (dibaca: ‘Adonay) ‘AL-‘AV’RAHAM ‘ET ‘ASHER-DIBER ‘ALAV

18:20 LAI TB, Sesudah itu berfirmanlah TUHAN: “Sesungguhnya banyak keluh kesah orang tentang Sodom dan Gomora dan sesungguhnya sangat berat dosanya.
KJV, And the LORD said, Because the cry of Sodom and Gomorrah is great, and because their sin is very grievous;
Hebrew,
וַיֹּאמֶר יְהוָה זַעֲקַת סְדֹם וַעֲמֹרָה כִּי־רָבָּה וְחַטָּאתָם כִּי כָבְדָה מְאֹד׃
Translit, VAYOMER YEHOVAH (baca ‘Adonay) ZA’AQAT SEDOM VA’AMORAH KI-RABAH VEKHATATAM KI KHAV’DAH ME’OD

18:21 LAI TB, Baiklah Aku turun untuk melihat, apakah benar-benar mereka telah berkelakuan seperti keluh kesah orang yang telah sampai kepada-Ku atau tidak; Aku hendak mengetahuinya.”
KJV, I will go down now, and see whether they have done altogether according to the cry of it, which is come unto me; and if not, I will know.

אֵרֲדָה־נָּא וְאֶרְאֶה הַכְּצַעֲקָתָהּ הַבָּאָה אֵלַי עָשׂוּ ׀ כָּלָה וְאִם־לֹא אֵדָעָה׃
Translit, ‘ERADAH-NA VE’ER’EH HAKETSA’AQATAH HABA’AH ‘ELAI ‘ASU KALAH VE’IM-LO ‘EDA’H

18:22 LAI TB, Lalu berpalinglah orang-orang itu dari situ dan berjalan ke Sodom, tetapi Abraham masih tetap berdiri di hadapan TUHAN.
KJV, And the men turned their faces from thence, and went toward Sodom: but Abraham stood yet before the LORD.
Hebrew,
וַיִּפְנוּ מִשָּׁם הָאֲנָשִׁים וַיֵּלְכוּ סְדֹמָה וְאַבְרָהָם עֹודֶנּוּ עֹמֵד לִפְנֵי יְהוָה׃
Translit, VAYIF’NU MISHAM HA’ANASHIM VAYEL’KHU SEDOMAH VE’AV’RAHAM ‘ODENU ‘OMED LIF’NEY YEHOVAH (dibaca: ‘Adonay)

18:23 LAI TB, Abraham datang mendekat dan berkata: “Apakah Engkau akan melenyapkan orang benar bersama-sama dengan orang fasik?
KJV, And Abraham drew near, and said, Wilt thou also destroy the righteous with the wicked?
Hebrew,
וַיִּגַּשׁ אַבְרָהָם וַיֹּאמַר הַאַף תִּסְפֶּה צַדִּיק עִם־רָשָׁע׃
Translit, VAYIGASH ‘AV’RAHAM VAYOMAR HA’AF TIS’PEH TSADIQ ‘IM-RASHA

18:24 LAI TB, Bagaimana sekiranya ada lima puluh orang benar dalam kota itu? Apakah Engkau akan melenyapkan tempat itu dan tidakkah Engkau mengampuninya karena kelima puluh orang benar yang ada di dalamnya itu?
KJV, Peradventure there be fifty righteous within the city: wilt thou also destroy and not spare the place for the fifty righteous that are therein?
Hebrew,
אוּלַי יֵשׁ חֲמִשִּׁים צַדִּיקִם בְּתֹוךְ הָעִיר הַאַף תִּסְפֶּה וְלֹא־תִשָּׂא לַמָּקֹום לְמַעַן חֲמִשִּׁים הַצַּדִּיקִם אֲשֶׁר בְּקִרְבָּהּ׃
Translit, ‘ULAY YESH KHAMISHIM TSADIQIM BETOKH HA’IR HA’AF TISPEH VELO-TISAH LAMAQOM LEMA’AN KHAMISHIM HATSADIQIM ‘ASHER BEQIR’BAH

18:25 LAI TB, Jauhlah kiranya dari pada-Mu untuk berbuat demikian, membunuh orang benar bersama-sama dengan orang fasik, sehingga orang benar itu seolah-olah sama dengan orang fasik! Jauhlah kiranya yang demikian dari pada-Mu! Masakan Hakim segenap bumi tidak menghukum dengan adil?”
KJV, That be far from thee to do after this manner, to slay the righteous with the wicked: and that the righteous should be as the wicked, that be far from thee: Shall not the Judge of all the earth do right?
Hebrew,
חָלִלָה לְּךָ מֵעֲשֹׂת ׀ כַּדָּבָר הַזֶּה לְהָמִית צַדִּיק עִם־רָשָׁע וְהָיָה כַצַּדִּיק כָּרָשָׁע חָלִלָה לָּךְ הֲשֹׁפֵט כָּל־הָאָרֶץ לֹא יַעֲשֶׂה מִשְׁפָּט׃
Translit, KHALILAH LEKHA ME’ASHOT KADAVAR HAZEH LEHAMIT TSADIQ ‘IM-RASHA VEHAYAH KHATSADIQ KARASHA KHALILAH LAKH HASHOFET KOL-HA’ARETS LO YA’ASEH MISH’PAT

18:26 LAI TB, TUHAN berfirman: “Jika Kudapati lima puluh orang benar dalam kota Sodom, Aku akan mengampuni seluruh tempat itu karena mereka.”
KJV, And the LORD said, If I find in Sodom fifty righteous within the city, then I will spare all the place for their sakes.
Hebrew,
וַיֹּאמֶר יְהוָה אִם־אֶמְצָא בִסְדֹם חֲמִשִּׁים צַדִּיקִם בְּתֹוךְ הָעִיר וְנָשָׂאתִי לְכָל־הַמָּקֹום בַּעֲבוּרָם׃
Translit, VAYOMER YEHOVAH (dibaca: ‘Adonay) ‘IM-‘EM’TSA VISEDOM KHAMISHIM TSADIQIM BETOKH HA’IR VENASATI LEKHOL-HAMAQOM BA’AVURAM

18:27 LAI TB, Abraham menyahut: “Sesungguhnya aku telah memberanikan diri berkata kepada Tuhan, walaupun aku debu dan abu.
KJV, And Abraham answered and said, Behold now, I have taken upon me to speak unto the LORD, which am but dust and ashes:
Hebrew,
וַיַּעַן אַבְרָהָם וַיֹּאמַר הִנֵּה־נָא הֹואַלְתִּי לְדַבֵּר אֶל־אֲדֹנָי וְאָנֹכִי עָפָר וָאֵפֶר׃
Translit, VAYA’AN ‘AV’RAHAM VAYOMAR HINEH-NA HO’AL’TI LEDABER ‘EL-‘ADONAY VE’ANOKHI ‘AFAR VA’EFER

18:28 LAI TB, Sekiranya kurang lima orang dari kelima puluh orang benar itu, apakah Engkau akan memusnahkan seluruh kota itu karena yang lima itu?” Firman-Nya: “Aku tidak memusnahkannya, jika Kudapati empat puluh lima di sana.”
KJV, Peradventure there shall lack five of the fifty righteous: wilt thou destroy all the city for lack of five? And he said, If I find there forty and five, I will not destroy it.

אוּלַי יַחְסְרוּן חֲמִשִּׁים הַצַּדִּיקִם חֲמִשָּׁה הֲתַשְׁחִית בַּחֲמִשָּׁה אֶת־כָּל־הָעִיר וַיֹּאמֶר לֹא אַשְׁחִית אִם־אֶמְצָא שָׁם אַרְבָּעִים וַחֲמִשָּׁה׃
Translit, ‘ULAY YAKH’SERUN KHAMISHIM HATSADIQIM KHAMISHAH HATASH’KHIT BAKHAMISHAH ‘ET-KOL-HA’IR VAYOMER LO ‘ASH’KHIT ‘IM-‘EM’TSA SHAM ‘AR’BA’IM VAKHAMISHAH

18:29 LAI TB, Lagi Abraham melanjutkan perkataannya kepada-Nya: “Sekiranya empat puluh didapati di sana?” Firman-Nya: “Aku tidak akan berbuat demikian karena yang empat puluh itu.”
KJV, And he spake unto him yet again, and said, Peradventure there shall be forty found there. And he said, I will not do it for forty’s sake.
Hebrew,
וַיֹּסֶף עֹוד לְדַבֵּר אֵלָיו וַיֹּאמַר אוּלַי יִמָּצְאוּן שָׁם אַרְבָּעִים וַיֹּאמֶר לֹא אֶעֱשֶׂה בַּעֲבוּר הָאַרְבָּעִים׃
Translit, VAYOSEF ‘OD LEDABER ‘ELAV VAYOMAR ‘ULAY YIMATSUN SHAM ‘AR’BA’IM VAYOMER LO’ ‘E’ESEH BA’AVUR HA’ARBAIM
