35:1 LAI TB, Allah berfirman kepada Yakub: “Bersiaplah, pergilah ke Betel, tinggallah di situ, dan buatlah di situ mezbah bagi Allah, yang telah menampakkan diri kepadamu, ketika engkau lari dari Esau, kakakmu.”
KJV, And God said unto Jacob, Arise, go up to Bethel, and dwell there: and make there an altar unto God, that appeared unto thee when thou fleddest from the face of Esau thy brother.
Hebrew,
וַיֹּאמֶר אֱלֹהִים אֶל־יַעֲקֹב קוּם עֲלֵה בֵית־אֵל וְשֶׁב־שָׁם וַעֲשֵׂה־שָׁם מִזְבֵּחַ לָאֵל הַנִּרְאֶה אֵלֶיךָ בְּבָרְחֲךָ מִפְּנֵי עֵשָׂו אָחִיךָ׃
Translit, VAYOMER ‘ELOHIM ‘EL-YA’AQOV QUM ‘ALEH VEIT-‘EL VESYEVO-SYAM VA’ASEH-SYAM MIZBE’AKH LA’EL HANIREH ‘ELEIKHA BEVARKHAKHA MIPNEY ‘ESAV ‘AKHIKHA

35:2 LAI TB, Lalu berkatalah Yakub kepada seisi rumahnya dan kepada semua orang yang bersama-sama dengan dia: “Jauhkanlah dewa-dewa asing yang ada di tengah-tengah kamu, tahirkanlah dirimu dan tukarlah pakaianmu.
KJV, Then Jacob said unto his household, and to all that were with him, Put away the strange gods that are among you, and be clean, and change your garments:

וַיֹּאמֶר יַעֲקֹב אֶל־בֵּיתֹו וְאֶל כָּל־אֲשֶׁר עִמֹּו הָסִרוּ אֶת־אֱלֹהֵי הַנֵּכָר אֲשֶׁר בְּתֹכְכֶם וְהִטַּהֲרוּ וְהַחֲלִיפוּ שִׂמְלֹתֵיכֶם׃
Translit, VAYOMER YA’AQOV ‘EL-BEITO VE’EL KOL-‘ASYER ‘IMO HASIRU ‘ET-‘ELOHEY HANEKHAR ‘ASYER BETOKHAKHEM VEHITAHARU VEHAKHALIFU SIMLOTEIKHEM

35:3 LAI TB, Marilah kita bersiap dan pergi ke Betel; aku akan membuat mezbah di situ bagi Allah, yang telah menjawab aku pada masa kesesakanku dan yang telah menyertai aku di jalan yang kutempuh.”
KJV, And let us arise, and go up to Bethel; and I will make there an altar unto God, who answered me in the day of my distress, and was with me in the way which I went.
Hebrew,
וְנָקוּמָה וְנַעֲלֶה בֵּית־אֵל וְאֶעֱשֶׂה־שָּׁם מִזְבֵּחַ לָאֵל הָעֹנֶה אֹתִי בְּיֹום צָרָתִי וַיְהִי עִמָּדִי בַּדֶּרֶךְ אֲשֶׁר הָלָכְתִּי׃
Translit, VENAQUMAH VENA’ALEH BEIT-‘EL VE’E’ESEH-SYAM MIZBE’AKH LA’EL HA’ONEH ‘OTI BEYOM TSARATI VAYEHI ‘IMADI BADEREKH ‘ASYER HALAKHTI

35:4 LAI TB, Mereka menyerahkan kepada Yakub segala dewa asing yang dipunyai mereka dan anting-anting yang ada pada telinga mereka, lalu Yakub menanamnya di bawah pohon besar yang dekat Sikhem.
KJV, And they gave unto Jacob all the strange gods which were in their hand, and all their earrings which were in their ears; and Jacob hid them under the oak which was by Shechem.

וַיִּתְּנוּ אֶל־יַעֲקֹב אֵת כָּל־אֱלֹהֵי הַנֵּכָר אֲשֶׁר בְּיָדָם וְאֶת־הַנְּזָמִים אֲשֶׁר בְּאָזְנֵיהֶם וַיִּטְמֹן אֹתָם יַעֲקֹב תַּחַת הָאֵלָה אֲשֶׁר עִם־שְׁכֶם׃

35:5 LAI TB, Sesudah itu berangkatlah mereka. Dan kedahsyatan yang dari Allah meliputi kota-kota sekeliling mereka, sehingga anak-anak Yakub tidak dikejar.
KJV, And they journeyed: and the terror of God was upon the cities that were round about them, and they did not pursue after the sons of Jacob.
Hebrew,
וַיִּסָּעוּ וַיְהִי ׀ חִתַּת אֱלֹהִים עַל־הֶעָרִים אֲשֶׁר סְבִיבֹתֵיהֶם וְלֹא רָדְפוּ אַחֲרֵי בְּנֵי יַעֲקֹב׃
Translit, VAYISA’U VAYEHI KHITAT ‘ELOHIM ‘AL-HE’ARIM ‘ASYER SEVIVOTEIHEM VELO RADFU ‘AKHAREY BENEY YA’AQOV

35:6 LAI TB, Lalu sampailah Yakub ke Lus yang di tanah Kanaan — yaitu Betel –, ia dan semua orang yang bersama-sama dengan dia.
KJV, So Jacob came to Luz, which is in the land of Canaan, that is, Bethel, he and all the people that were with him.
Hebrew,
וַיָּבֹא יַעֲקֹב לוּזָה אֲשֶׁר בְּאֶרֶץ כְּנַעַן הִוא בֵּית־אֵל הוּא וְכָל־הָעָם אֲשֶׁר־עִמֹּו׃
Translit, VAYAVO YA’AQOV LUZAH ‘ASYER BE’ERETS KENA’AN HIV BEIT-‘EL HU VEKHOL-HA’AM ‘ASYER-IMO

35:7 LAI TB, Didirikannyalah mezbah di situ, dan dinamainyalah tempat itu El-Betel, karena Allah telah menyatakan diri kepadanya di situ, ketika ia lari terhadap kakaknya.
KJV, And he built there an altar, and called the place Elbethel: because there God appeared unto him, when he fled from the face of his brother.

וַיִּבֶן שָׁם מִזְבֵּחַ וַיִּקְרָא לַמָּקֹום אֵל בֵּית־אֵל כִּי שָׁם נִגְלוּ אֵלָיו הָאֱלֹהִים בְּבָרְחֹו מִפְּנֵי אָחִיו׃
Translit, VAYIVEN SYAM MIZBE’AKH VAYIQRA LAMAKOM ‘EL BEIT-‘EL KI SYAM NIGLU ‘ELAV HA’ELOHIM BEVARKHO MIPNEY ‘AKHIV

35:8 LAI TB, Ketika Debora, inang pengasuh Ribka, mati, dikuburkanlah ia di sebelah hilir Betel di bawah pohon besar, yang dinamai orang: Pohon Besar Penangisan.
KJV, But Deborah Rebekah’s nurse died, and she was buried beneath Bethel under an oak: and the name of it was called Allonbachuth.

וַתָּמָת דְּבֹרָה מֵינֶקֶת רִבְקָה וַתִּקָּבֵר מִתַּחַת לְבֵית־אֵל תַּחַת הָאַלֹּון וַיִּקְרָא שְׁמֹו אַלֹּון בָּכוּת׃ פ
Translit, VATAMAT DEVORAH MEINEQET RIVQAH VATIQAVER MITAKHAT LEVEIT-‘EL TAKHAT HA’ALON VAYIQRA SYEMO ‘ALON BAKHUT

35:9 LAI TB, Setelah Yakub datang dari Padan-Aram, maka Allah menampakkan diri pula kepadanya dan memberkati dia.
KJV, And God appeared unto Jacob again, when he came out of Padanaram, and blessed him.

וַיֵּרָא אֱלֹהִים אֶל־יַעֲקֹב עֹוד בְּבֹאֹו מִפַּדַּן אֲרָם וַיְבָרֶךְ אֹתֹו׃
Translit, VAYERA ‘ELOHIM ‘EL-YA’AQOV ‘OD BEVO’O MIPADAN ‘ARAM VAYEVAREKH ‘OTO

35:10 LAI TB, Firman Allah kepadanya: “Namamu Yakub; dari sekarang namamu bukan lagi Yakub, melainkan Israel, itulah yang akan menjadi namamu.” Maka Allah menamai dia Israel.
KJV, And God said unto him, Thy name is Jacob: thy name shall not be called any more Jacob, but Israel shall be thy name: and he called his name Israel.

וַיֹּאמֶר־לֹו אֱלֹהִים שִׁמְךָ יַעֲקֹב לֹא־יִקָּרֵא שִׁמְךָ עֹוד יַעֲקֹב כִּי אִם־יִשְׂרָאֵל יִהְיֶה שְׁמֶךָ וַיִּקְרָא אֶת־שְׁמֹו יִשְׂרָאֵל׃
Translit, VAYOMER-LO ‘ELOHIM SYIMKHA YA’AQOV LO-YIQARE SYIMKHA ‘OD YA’AQOV KI IM-YISRA’EL YIHYEH SYEMEKHA VAYIQRA ‘ET-SYEMO YISRA’EL

35:11 LAI TB, Lagi firman Allah kepadanya: “Akulah Allah Yang Mahakuasa. Beranakcuculah dan bertambah banyak; satu bangsa, bahkan sekumpulan bangsa-bangsa, akan terjadi dari padamu dan raja-raja akan berasal dari padamu.
KJV, And God said unto him, I am God Almighty: be fruitful and multiply; a nation and a company of nations shall be of thee, and kings shall come out of thy loins;
Hebrew,
וַיֹּאמֶר לֹו אֱלֹהִים אֲנִי אֵל שַׁדַּי פְּרֵה וּרְבֵה גֹּוי וּקְהַל גֹּויִם יִהְיֶה מִמֶּךָּ וּמְלָכִים מֵחֲלָצֶיךָ יֵצֵאוּ׃
Translit, VAYOMER LO ‘ELOHIM ‘ANI ‘EL SYADAY PEREH UREVE GOY UQEHAL GOYIM YIHYEH MIMEKA UMELAKHIM MEKHALATSEIKHA YETSE’U

35:12 LAI TB, Dan negeri ini yang telah Kuberikan kepada Abraham dan kepada Ishak, akan Kuberikan kepadamu dan juga kepada keturunanmu.”
KJV, And the land which I gave Abraham and Isaac, to thee I will give it, and to thy seed after thee will I give the land.

וְאֶת־הָאָרֶץ אֲשֶׁר נָתַתִּי לְאַבְרָהָם וּלְיִצְחָק לְךָ אֶתְּנֶנָּה וּלְזַרְעֲךָ אַחֲרֶיךָ אֶתֵּן אֶת־הָאָרֶץ׃

35:13 LAI TB, Lalu naiklah Allah meninggalkan Yakub dari tempat Ia berfirman kepadanya.
KJV, And God went up from him in the place where he talked with him.

וַיַּעַל מֵעָלָיו אֱלֹהִים בַּמָּקֹום אֲשֶׁר־דִּבֶּר אִתֹּו׃
Translit, VAYA’AL ME’ALAV ‘ELOHIM BAMAQOM ‘ASYER-DIBER ‘ITO

35:14 LAI TB, Kemudian Yakub mendirikan tugu di tempat itu, yakni tugu batu; ia mempersembahkan korban curahan dan menuangkan minyak di atasnya.
KJV, And Jacob set up a pillar in the place where he talked with him, even a pillar of stone: and he poured a drink offering thereon, and he poured oil thereon.
Hebrew,
וַיַּצֵּב יַעֲקֹב מַצֵּבָה בַּמָּקֹום אֲשֶׁר־דִּבֶּר אִתֹּו מַצֶּבֶת אָבֶן וַיַּסֵּךְ עָלֶיהָ נֶסֶךְ וַיִּצֹק עָלֶיהָ שָׁמֶן׃
Translit, VAYATSEV YA’AQOV MATSEVA BAMAQOM ‘ASYER-DIBER ‘ITO MATSEVET ‘AVEN VAYASEKH ‘ALEIHA NESEKH VAYITSOK ‘ALEIHA SYAMEN

35:15 LAI TB, Yakub menamai tempat di mana Allah telah berfirman kepadanya “Betel”.
KJV, And Jacob called the name of the place where God spake with him, Bethel.

וַיִּקְרָא יַעֲקֹב אֶת־שֵׁם הַמָּקֹום אֲשֶׁר דִּבֶּר אִתֹּו שָׁם אֱלֹהִים בֵּית־אֵל׃
Translit, VAYIQRA YA’AQOV ‘ET-SYEM HAMAQOM ‘ASYER DIBER ‘ITO SYAM ‘ELOHIM BEIT-‘EL

35:16 LAI TB, Sesudah itu berangkatlah mereka dari Betel. Ketika mereka tidak berapa jauh lagi dari Efrata, bersalinlah Rahel, dan bersalinnya itu sangat sukar.
KJV, And they journeyed from Bethel; and there was but a little way to come to Ephrath: and Rachel travailed, and she had hard labour.
Hebrew,
וַיִּסְעוּ מִבֵּית אֵל וַיְהִי־עֹוד כִּבְרַת־הָאָרֶץ לָבֹוא אֶפְרָתָה וַתֵּלֶד רָחֵל וַתְּקַשׁ בְּלִדְתָּהּ׃
Translit, VAYISU MIBEIT ‘EL VAYEHI-OD KIVRAT-HA’ARETS LAVO ‘EFRATAH VATELED RAKHEL VATEQASY BELIDTAH

35:17 LAI TB, Sedang ia sangat sukar bersalin, berkatalah bidan kepadanya: “Janganlah takut, sekali ini pun anak laki-laki yang kaudapat.”
KJV, And it came to pass, when she was in hard labour, that the midwife said unto her, Fear not; thou shalt have this son also.

וַיְהִי בְהַקְשֹׁתָהּ בְּלִדְתָּהּ וַתֹּאמֶר לָהּ הַמְיַלֶּדֶת אַל־תִּירְאִי כִּי־גַם־זֶה לָךְ בֵּן׃
Translit, VAYEHI VEHAQSYOTAH BELIDTAH VATOMER LAH HAMEYALEDET ‘AL-TIRI KI-GAM-ZEH LAKH BEN

35:18 LAI TB, Dan ketika ia hendak menghembuskan nafas — sebab ia mati kemudian — diberikannyalah nama Ben-oni kepada anak itu, tetapi ayahnya menamainya Benyamin.
KJV, And it came to pass, as her soul was in departing, (for she died) that she called his name Benoni: but his father called him Benjamin.
Hebrew,
וַיְהִי בְּצֵאת נַפְשָׁהּ כִּי מֵתָה וַתִּקְרָא שְׁמֹו בֶּן־אֹונִי וְאָבִיו קָרָא־לֹו בִנְיָמִין׃
Translit, VAYEHI BETSET NAFSYAH KI META VATIQRA SYEMO BEN-‘ONI VE’AVIV QARA-LO VINYAMIN

35:19 LAI TB, Demikianlah Rahel mati, lalu ia dikuburkan di sisi jalan ke Efrata, yaitu Betlehem.
KJV, And Rachel died, and was buried in the way to Ephrath, which is Bethlehem.

וַתָּמָת רָחֵל וַתִּקָּבֵר בְּדֶרֶךְ אֶפְרָתָה הִוא בֵּית לָחֶם׃
Translit, VATAMAT RAKHEL VATIQAVER BEDEREKH ‘EFRATAH HIV BEIT LAKHEM

35:20 LAI TB, Yakub mendirikan tugu di atas kuburnya; itulah tugu kubur Rahel sampai sekarang.
KJV, And Jacob set a pillar upon her grave: that is the pillar of Rachel’s grave unto this day.

וַיַּצֵּב יַעֲקֹב מַצֵּבָה עַל־קְבֻרָתָהּ הִוא מַצֶּבֶת קְבֻרַת־רָחֵל עַד־הַיֹּום׃
Translit, VAYATSEV YA’AQOV MATSEVAH ‘AL-QEVURATA HIV MATSEVET QEVURAT-RAKHEL ‘AD-HAYOM

35:21 LAI TB, Sesudah itu berangkatlah Israel, lalu ia memasang kemahnya di seberang Migdal-Eder.
KJV, And Israel journeyed, and spread his tent beyond the tower of Edar.
Hebrew,
וַיִּסַּע יִשְׂרָאֵל וַיֵּט אָהֳלֹה מֵהָלְאָה לְמִגְדַּל־עֵדֶר׃
Translit, VAYISA YISRA’EL VAYET ‘AHOLO MEHALAH LEMIGDAL-‘EDER

35:22a LAI TB, Ketika Israel diam di negeri ini, terjadilah bahwa Ruben sampai tidur dengan Bilha, gundik ayahnya, dan kedengaranlah hal itu kepada Israel.
KJV, And it came to pass, when Israel dwelt in that land, that Reuben went and lay with Bilhah his father’s concubine: and Israel heard it. Now the sons of Jacob were twelve:

וַיְהִי בִּשְׁכֹּן יִשְׂרָאֵל בָּאָרֶץ הַהִוא וַיֵּלֶךְ רְאוּבֵן וַיִּשְׁכַּב אֶת־בִּלְהָה פִּילֶגֶשׁ אָבִיו וַיִּשְׁמַע יִשְׂרָאֵל פ וַיִּהְיוּ בְנֵי־יַעֲקֹב שְׁנֵים עָשָׂר׃

35:22b LAI TB, Adapun anak-anak lelaki Yakub dua belas orang jumlahnya.

35:23 LAI TB, Anak-anak Lea ialah Ruben, anak sulung Yakub, kemudian Simeon, Lewi, Yehuda, Isakhar dan Zebulon.
KJV, The sons of Leah; Reuben, Jacob’s firstborn, and Simeon, and Levi, and Judah, and Issachar, and Zebulun:

בְּנֵי לֵאָה בְּכֹור יַעֲקֹב רְאוּבֵן וְשִׁמְעֹון וְלֵוִי וִיהוּדָה וְיִשָּׂשכָר וּזְבוּלֻן׃

35:24 LAI TB, Anak-anak Rahel ialah Yusuf dan Benyamin.

35:25 LAI TB, Dan anak-anak Bilha, budak perempuan Rahel ialah Dan serta Naftali.
KJV, And the sons of Bilhah, Rachel’s handmaid; Dan, and Naphtali:

וּבְנֵי בִלְהָה שִׁפְחַת רָחֵל דָּן וְנַפְתָּלִי׃
Translit, UVENEY VILHAH SYIFKHAT RAKHEL DAN VENAFTALI

35:26 LAI TB, Dan anak-anak Zilpa, budak perempuan Lea ialah Gad dan Asyer. Itulah anak-anak lelaki Yakub, yang dilahirkan baginya di Padan-Aram.
KJV, And the sons of Zilpah, Leah’s handmaid: Gad, and Asher: these are the sons of Jacob, which were born to him in Padanaram.

וּבְנֵי זִלְפָּה שִׁפְחַת לֵאָה גָּד וְאָשֵׁר אֵלֶּה בְּנֵי יַעֲקֹב אֲשֶׁר יֻלַּד־לֹו בְּפַדַּן אֲרָם׃

35:27 LAI TB, Lalu sampailah Yakub kepada Ishak, ayahnya, di Mamre dekat Kiryat-Arba — itulah Hebron — tempat Abraham dan Ishak tinggal sebagai orang asing.
KJV, And Jacob came unto Isaac his father unto Mamre, unto the city of Arbah, which is Hebron, where Abraham and Isaac sojourned.

35:28 Adapun umur Ishak seratus delapan puluh tahun.

KJV, And Isaac gave up the ghost, and died, and was gathered unto his people, being old and full of days: and his sons Esau and Jacob buried him.
