48:1 LAI TB, Sesudah itu ada orang mengatakan kepada Yusuf: “Ayahmu sakit!” Lalu dibawanyalah kedua anaknya, Manasye dan Efraim.
KJV, And it came to pass after these things, that one told Joseph, Behold, thy father is sick: and he took with him his two sons, Manasseh and Ephraim.

וַיְהִי אַחֲרֵי הַדְּבָרִים הָאֵלֶּה וַיֹּאמֶר לְיֹוסֵף הִנֵּה אָבִיךָ חֹלֶה וַיִּקַּח אֶת־שְׁנֵי בָנָיו עִמֹּו אֶת־מְנַשֶּׁה וְאֶת־אֶפְרָיִם׃
Translit, VAYEHI ‘AKHAREY HADEVARIM HA’ELEH VAYOMER LEYOSEF HINEH ‘AVIKHA KHOLEH VAYIQAKH ‘ET-SYENEY VANAV I.MO ‘ET-MENASYEH VE’ET-‘EFRAYIM

48:2 LAI TB, Ketika diberitahukan kepada Yakub: “Telah datang anakmu Yusuf kepadamu,” maka Israel mengumpulkan segenap kekuatannya dan duduklah ia di tempat tidurnya.
KJV, And one told Jacob, and said, Behold, thy son Joseph cometh unto thee: and Israel strengthened himself, and sat upon the bed.

וַיַּגֵּד לְיַעֲקֹב וַיֹּאמֶר הִנֵּה בִּנְךָ יֹוסֵף בָּא אֵלֶיךָ וַיִּתְחַזֵּק יִשְׂרָאֵל וַיֵּשֶׁב עַל־הַמִּטָּה׃

48:3 LAI TB, Berkatalah Yakub kepada Yusuf: “Allah, Yang Mahakuasa telah menampakkan diri kepadaku di Lus di tanah Kanaan dan memberkati aku
KJV, And Jacob said unto Joseph, God Almighty appeared unto me at Luz in the land of Canaan, and blessed me,

וַיֹּאמֶר יַעֲקֹב אֶל־יֹוסֵף אֵל שַׁדַּי נִרְאָה־אֵלַי בְּלוּז בְּאֶרֶץ כְּנָעַן וַיְבָרֶךְ אֹתִי׃
Translit, VAYOMER YA’AQOV ‘EL-YOSEF ‘EL SYADAY NIRAH-‘ELAY BELUZ BE’ERETS KENA’AN VAYEVAREKH ‘OTI

48:4 LAI TB, serta berfirman kepadaku: Akulah yang membuat engkau beranak cucu, dan Aku akan membuat engkau bertambah banyak dan menjadi sekumpulan bangsa-bangsa; Aku akan memberikan negeri ini kepada keturunanmu untuk menjadi miliknya sampai selama-lamanya.
KJV, And said unto me, Behold, I will make thee fruitful, and multiply thee, and I will make of thee a multitude of people; and will give this land to thy seed after thee for an everlasting possession.

וַיֹּאמֶר אֵלַי הִנְנִי מַפְרְךָ וְהִרְבִּיתִךָ וּנְתַתִּיךָ לִקְהַל עַמִּים וְנָתַתִּי אֶת־הָאָרֶץ הַזֹּאת לְזַרְעֲךָ אַחֲרֶיךָ אֲחֻזַּת עֹולָם׃

48:5 LAI TB, Maka sekarang kedua anakmu yang lahir bagimu di tanah Mesir, sebelum aku datang kepadamu ke Mesir, akulah yang empunya mereka; akulah yang akan empunya Efraim dan Manasye sama seperti Ruben dan Simeon.
KJV, And now thy two sons, Ephraim and Manasseh, which were born unto thee in the land of Egypt before I came unto thee into Egypt, are mine; as Reuben and Simeon, they shall be mine.
Hebrew,
וְעַתָּה שְׁנֵי־בָנֶיךָ הַנֹּולָדִים לְךָ בְּאֶרֶץ מִצְרַיִם עַד־בֹּאִי אֵלֶיךָ מִצְרַיְמָה לִי־הֵם אֶפְרַיִם וּמְנַשֶּׁה כִּרְאוּבֵן וְשִׁמְעֹון יִהְיוּ־לִי׃
Translit, VE’ATAH SYENEY-VANEYKHA HANOLADIM LEKHA BE’ERETS MITSRAYIM ‘AD-BO’I ‘ELEYKHA MITSRAYMAH LI-HEM ‘EFRAYIM UMENASYEH KIRUVEN VESYIMON YIHYU-LI

48:6 LAI TB, Dan keturunanmu yang kauperoleh sesudah mereka, engkaulah yang empunya, tetapi dalam pembagian warisan nama mereka akan disebutkan berdasarkan nama kedua saudaranya itu.
KJV, And thy issue, which thou begettest after them, shall be thine, and shall be called after the name of their brethren in their inheritance.

וּמֹולַדְתְּךָ אֲשֶׁר־הֹולַדְתָּ אַחֲרֵיהֶם לְךָ יִהְיוּ עַל שֵׁם אֲחֵיהֶם יִקָּרְאוּ בְּנַחֲלָתָם׃
Translit, UMOLADTEKHA ‘ASYER-HOLADTA ‘AKHAREYHEM LEKHA YIHYU ‘AL SYEM ‘AKHEYHEM YIQARU BENAKHALATAM

48:7 LAI TB, Kalau aku, pada waktu perjalananku dari Padan, aku kematian Rahel di tanah Kanaan di jalan, ketika kami tidak berapa jauh lagi dari Efrata, dan aku menguburkannya di sana, di sisi jalan ke Efrata” — yaitu Betlehem.
KJV, And as for me, when I came from Padan, Rachel died by me in the land of Canaan in the way, when yet there was but a little way to come unto Ephrath: and I buried her there in the way of Ephrath; the same is Bethlehem.

וַאֲנִי ׀ בְּבֹאִי מִפַּדָּן מֵתָה עָלַי רָחֵל בְּאֶרֶץ כְּנַעַן בַּדֶּרֶךְ בְּעֹוד כִּבְרַת־אֶרֶץ לָבֹא אֶפְרָתָה וָאֶקְבְּרֶהָ שָּׁם בְּדֶרֶךְ אֶפְרָת הִוא בֵּית לָחֶם׃

48:8 LAI TB, Ketika Israel melihat anak-anak Yusuf itu, bertanyalah ia: “Siapakah ini?”
KJV, And Israel beheld Joseph’s sons, and said, Who are these?

וַיַּרְא יִשְׂרָאֵל אֶת־בְּנֵי יֹוסֵף וַיֹּאמֶר מִי־אֵלֶּה׃
Translit, VAYAR YISRA’EL ‘ET-BENEY YOSEF VAYOMER MI-‘ELEH

48:9 LAI TB, Jawab Yusuf kepada ayahnya: “Inilah anak-anakku yang telah diberikan Allah kepadaku di sini.” Maka kata Yakub: “Dekatkanlah mereka kepadaku, supaya kuberkati mereka.”
KJV, And Joseph said unto his father, They are my sons, whom God hath given me in this place. And he said, Bring them, I pray thee, unto me, and I will bless them.

וַיֹּאמֶר יֹוסֵף אֶל־אָבִיו בָּנַי הֵם אֲשֶׁר־נָתַן־לִי אֱלֹהִים בָּזֶה וַיֹּאמַר קָחֶם־נָא אֵלַי וַאֲבָרֲכֵם׃

48:10 LAI TB, Adapun mata Israel telah kabur karena tuanya, jadi ia tidak dapat lagi melihat. Kemudian Yusuf mendekatkan mereka kepada ayahnya: dan mereka dicium serta didekap oleh ayahnya.
KJV, Now the eyes of Israel were dim for age, so that he could not see. And he brought them near unto him; and he kissed them, and embraced them.

וְעֵינֵי יִשְׂרָאֵל כָּבְדוּ מִזֹּקֶן לֹא יוּכַל לִרְאֹות וַיַּגֵּשׁ אֹתָם אֵלָיו וַיִּשַּׁק לָהֶם וַיְחַבֵּק לָהֶם׃
Translit, VE’EYNEY YISRA’EL KAVDU MIZOQEN LO YUKHAL LIROT VAYAGESY ‘OTAM ‘ELAV VAYISYAK LAHEM VAYEKHABEK LAHEM

48:11 LAI TB, Lalu berkatalah Israel kepada Yusuf: “Tidak kusangka-sangka, bahwa aku akan melihat mukamu lagi, tetapi sekarang Allah bahkan memberi aku melihat keturunanmu.”
KJV, And Israel said unto Joseph, I had not thought to see thy face: and, lo, God hath shewed me also thy seed.

וַיֹּאמֶר יִשְׂרָאֵל אֶל־יֹוסֵף רְאֹה פָנֶיךָ לֹא פִלָּלְתִּי וְהִנֵּה הֶרְאָה אֹתִי אֱלֹהִים גַּם אֶת־זַרְעֶךָ׃
Translit, VAYOMER YISRA’EL ‘EL-YOSEF RE’OH FANEYKHA LO FILALTI VEHINEH HERAH ‘OTI ‘ELOHIM GAM ‘ET-ZAREKHA

48:12 LAI TB, Lalu Yusuf menarik mereka dari antara lutut ayahnya, dan ia sujud dengan mukanya sampai ke tanah.
KJV, And Joseph brought them out from between his knees, and he bowed himself with his face to the earth.

וַיֹּוצֵא יֹוסֵף אֹתָם מֵעִם בִּרְכָּיו וַיִּשְׁתַּחוּ לְאַפָּיו אָרְצָה׃
Translit, VAYOTSE YOSEF ‘OTAM ME’IM BIRKAV VAYISYTAKHU LE’APAV ‘ARTSAH

48:13 LAI TB, Setelah itu Yusuf memegang mereka keduanya, dengan tangan kanan dipegangnya Efraim, yaitu di sebelah kiri Israel, dan dengan tangan kiri Manasye, yaitu di sebelah kanan Israel, lalu didekatkannyalah mereka kepadanya.
KJV, And Joseph took them both, Ephraim in his right hand toward Israel’s left hand, and Manasseh in his left hand toward Israel’s right hand, and brought them near unto him.

וַיִּקַּח יֹוסֵף אֶת־שְׁנֵיהֶם אֶת־אֶפְרַיִם בִּימִינֹו מִשְּׂמֹאל יִשְׂרָאֵל וְאֶת־מְנַשֶּׁה בִשְׂמֹאלֹו מִימִין יִשְׂרָאֵל וַיַּגֵּשׁ אֵלָיו׃
Translit, VAYIQAKH YOSEF ‘ET-SYENEYHEM ‘ET-‘EFRAYIM BIMINO MISMOL YISRA’EL VE’ET-MENASYEH VISMOLO MIMIN YISRA’EL VAYAGESY ‘ELAV

48:14 LAI TB, Tetapi Israel mengulurkan tangan kanannya dan meletakkannya di atas kepala Efraim, walaupun ia yang bungsu, dan tangan kirinya di atas kepala Manasye — jadi tangannya bersilang, walaupun Manasye yang sulung.
KJV, And Israel stretched out his right hand, and laid it upon Ephraim’s head, who was the younger, and his left hand upon Manasseh’s head, guiding his hands wittingly; for Manasseh was the firstborn.

וַיִּשְׁלַח יִשְׂרָאֵל אֶת־יְמִינֹו וַיָּשֶׁת עַל־רֹאשׁ אֶפְרַיִם וְהוּא הַצָּעִיר וְאֶת־שְׂמֹאלֹו עַל־רֹאשׁ מְנַשֶּׁה שִׂכֵּל אֶת־יָדָיו כִּי מְנַשֶּׁה הַבְּכֹור׃

48:15 LAI TB, Sesudah itu diberkatinyalah Yusuf, katanya: “Nenekku dan ayahku, Abraham dan Ishak, telah hidup di hadapan Allah; Allah itu, sebagai Allah yang telah menjadi gembalaku selama hidupku sampai sekarang,
KJV, And he blessed Joseph, and said, God, before whom my fathers Abraham and Isaac did walk, the God which fed me all my life long unto this day,

וַיְבָרֶךְ אֶת־יֹוסֵף וַיֹּאמַר הָאֱלֹהִים אֲשֶׁר הִתְהַלְּכוּ אֲבֹתַי לְפָנָיו אַבְרָהָם וְיִצְחָק הָאֱלֹהִים הָרֹעֶה אֹתִי מֵעֹודִי עַד־הַיֹּום הַזֶּה׃
Translit, VAYEVAREKH ‘ET-YOSEF VAYOMAR HA’ELOHIM ‘ASYER HITHALKHU ‘AVOTAY LEFANAV ‘AVRAHAM VEYITSQHAK HA’ELOHIM HARO’EH ‘OTI ME’ODI ‘AD-HAYOM HAZEH

48:16 LAI TB, dan sebagai Malaikat yang telah melepaskan aku dari segala bahaya, Dialah kiranya yang memberkati orang-orang muda ini, sehingga namaku serta nama nenek dan bapaku, Abraham dan Ishak, termasyhur oleh karena mereka dan sehingga mereka bertambah-tambah menjadi jumlah yang besar di bumi.”
KJV, The Angel which redeemed me from all evil, bless the lads; and let my name be named on them, and the name of my fathers Abraham and Isaac; and let them grow into a multitude in the midst of the earth.

הַמַּלְאָךְ הַגֹּאֵל אֹתִי מִכָּל־רָע יְבָרֵךְ אֶת־הַנְּעָרִים וְיִקָּרֵא בָהֶם שְׁמִי וְשֵׁם אֲבֹתַי אַבְרָהָם וְיִצְחָק וְיִדְגּוּ לָרֹב בְּקֶרֶב הָאָרֶץ׃

48:17 LAI TB, Ketika Yusuf melihat bahwa ayahnya meletakkan tangan kanannya di atas kepala Efraim, hal itu dipandangnya tidak baik; lalu dipegangnya tangan ayahnya untuk memindahkannya dari atas kepala Efraim ke atas kepala Manasye.
KJV, And when Joseph saw that his father laid his right hand upon the head of Ephraim, it displeased him: and he held up his father’s hand, to remove it from Ephraim’s head unto Manasseh’s head.

וַיַּרְא יֹוסֵף כִּי־יָשִׁית אָבִיו יַד־יְמִינֹו עַל־רֹאשׁ אֶפְרַיִם וַיֵּרַע בְּעֵינָיו וַיִּתְמֹךְ יַד־אָבִיו לְהָסִיר אֹתָהּ מֵעַל רֹאשׁ־אֶפְרַיִם עַל־רֹאשׁ מְנַשֶּׁה׃

48:18 LAI TB, Katanya kepada ayahnya: “Janganlah demikian, ayahku, sebab inilah yang sulung, letakkanlah tangan kananmu ke atas kepalanya.”
KJV, And Joseph said unto his father, Not so, my father: for this is the firstborn; put thy right hand upon his head.

וַיֹּאמֶר יֹוסֵף אֶל־אָבִיו לֹא־כֵן אָבִי כִּי־זֶה הַבְּכֹר שִׂים יְמִינְךָ עַל־רֹאשֹׁו׃
Translit, VAYOMER YOSEF ‘EL-‘AVIV LO-KHEN ‘AVI KI-ZEH HABEKHOR SIM YEMINKHA ‘AL-ROSYO

48:19 LAI TB, Tetapi ayahnya menolak, katanya: “Aku tahu, anakku, aku tahu; ia juga akan menjadi suatu bangsa dan ia juga akan menjadi besar kuasanya; walaupun begitu, adiknya akan lebih besar kuasanya dari padanya, dan keturunan adiknya itu akan menjadi sejumlah besar bangsa-bangsa.”
KJV, And his father refused, and said, I know it, my son, I know it: he also shall become a people, and he also shall be great: but truly his younger brother shall be greater than he, and his seed shall become a multitude of nations.

וַיְמָאֵן אָבִיו וַיֹּאמֶר יָדַעְתִּי בְנִי יָדַעְתִּי גַּם־הוּא יִהְיֶה־לְּעָם וְגַם־הוּא יִגְדָּל וְאוּלָם אָחִיו הַקָּטֹן יִגְדַּל מִמֶּנּוּ וְזַרְעֹו יִהְיֶה מְלֹא־הַגֹּויִם׃
Translit, VAYEMA’EN ‘AVIV VAYOMER YADATI VENI YADATI GAM-HU YIHYEH-LE’AM VEGAM-HU YIGDAL VE’ULAM ‘AKHIV HAQATON YIGDAL MIMENU VEZARO YIHYEH MELO-HAGOYIM

48:20 LAI TB, Lalu diberkatinyalah mereka pada waktu itu, katanya: “Dengan menyebutkan namamulah orang Israel akan memberkati, demikian: Allah kiranya membuat engkau seperti Efraim dan seperti Manasye.” Demikianlah didahulukannya Efraim dari pada Manasye.
KJV, And he blessed them that day, saying, In thee shall Israel bless, saying, God make thee as Ephraim and as Manasseh: and he set Ephraim before Manasseh.

וַיְבָרֲכֵם בַּיֹּום הַהוּא לֵאמֹור בְּךָ יְבָרֵךְ יִשְׂרָאֵל לֵאמֹר יְשִׂמְךָ אֱלֹהִים כְּאֶפְרַיִם וְכִמְנַשֶּׁה וַיָּשֶׂם אֶת־אֶפְרַיִם לִפְנֵי מְנַשֶּׁה׃
Translit, VAYEVARAKHEM BAYOM HAHU LEMOR BEKHA YEVAREKH YISRA’EL LEMOR YESIMKHA ‘ELOHIM KE’EFRAYIM VEKHIMNASYEH VAYASEM ‘ET-‘EFRAYIM LIFNEY MENASYEH

48:21 LAI TB, Kemudian berkatalah Israel kepada Yusuf: “Tidak lama lagi aku akan mati, tetapi Allah akan menyertai kamu dan membawa kamu kembali ke negeri nenek moyangmu.
KJV, And Israel said unto Joseph, Behold, I die: but God shall be with you, and bring you again unto the land of your fathers.
Hebrew,
וַיֹּאמֶר יִשְׂרָאֵל אֶל־יֹוסֵף הִנֵּה אָנֹכִי מֵת וְהָיָה אֱלֹהִים עִמָּכֶם וְהֵשִׁיב אֶתְכֶם אֶל־אֶרֶץ אֲבֹתֵיכֶם׃
Translit, VAYOMER YISRA’EL ‘EL-YOSEF HINEH ‘ANOKHI MET VEHAYAH ‘ELOHIM ‘IMAKHEM VEHESYIV ‘ETKHEM ‘EL-‘ERETS ‘AVOTEYKHEM

48:22 LAI TB, Dan sekarang aku memberikan kepadamu sebagai kelebihanmu dari pada saudara-saudaramu, suatu punggung gunung yang kurebut dengan pedang dan panahku dari tangan orang Amori.”
KJV, Moreover I have given to thee one portion above thy brethren, which I took out of the hand of the Amorite with my sword and with my bow.

וַאֲנִי נָתַתִּי לְךָ שְׁכֶם אַחַד עַל־אַחֶיךָ אֲשֶׁר לָקַחְתִּי מִיַּד הָאֱמֹרִי בְּחַרְבִּי וּבְקַשְׁתִּי׃ פ
