8:1 LAI TB, Berfirmanlah TUHAN kepada Musa: “Pergilah menghadap Firaun dan katakan kepadanya: Beginilah firman TUHAN: Biarkanlah umat-Ku pergi, supaya mereka beribadah kepada-Ku;
KJV, And the LORD spake unto Moses, Go unto Pharaoh, and say unto him, Thus saith the LORD, Let my people go, that they may serve me.
Hebrew,
וַיֹּאמֶר יְהוָה אֶל־מֹשֶׁה בֹּא אֶל־פַּרְעֹה וְאָמַרְתָּ אֵלָיו כֹּה אָמַר יְהוָה שַׁלַּח אֶת־עַמִּי וְיַעַבְדֻנִי׃

8:2 LAI TB, jika engkau menolak membiarkannya pergi, maka Aku akan menulahi seluruh daerahmu dengan katak.
KJV, And if thou refuse to let them go, behold, I will smite all thy borders with frogs:

וְאִם־מָאֵן אַתָּה לְשַׁלֵּחַ הִנֵּה אָנֹכִי נֹגֵף אֶת־כָּל־גְּבוּלְךָ בַּצְפַרְדְּעִים׃
Translit, VE’IM-MA’EN ‘ATAH LESYALE’AKH HINEH ‘ANOKHI NOGEF ‘ET-KOL-GEVULKHA BATSFARDE’IM

8:3 LAI TB, Katak-katak akan mengeriap dalam sungai Nil, lalu naik dan masuk ke dalam istanamu dan kamar tidurmu, ya sampai ke dalam tempat tidurmu, ke dalam rumah pegawai-pegawaimu, dan rakyatmu, bahkan ke dalam pembakaran rotimu serta ke dalam tempat adonanmu.
KJV, And the river shall bring forth frogs abundantly, which shall go up and come into thine house, and into thy bedchamber, and upon thy bed, and into the house of thy servants, and upon thy people, and into thine ovens, and into thy kneadingtroughs:

וְשָׁרַץ הַיְאֹר צְפַרְדְּעִים וְעָלוּ וּבָאוּ בְּבֵיתֶךָ וּבַחֲדַר מִשְׁכָּבְךָ וְעַל־מִטָּתֶךָ וּבְבֵית עֲבָדֶיךָ וּבְעַמֶּךָ וּבְתַנּוּרֶיךָ וּבְמִשְׁאֲרֹותֶיךָ׃
Translit, VESYARATS HAYE’OR TSEFARDE’IM VE’ALU UVAU BEVEYTEKHA UVAKHADAR MISYKAVKHA VE’AL-MITATEKHA UVEVEYT ‘AVADEYKHA UVE’AMEKHA UVETANUREYKHA UVEMISYAROTEYKHA

8:4 LAI TB, Katak-katak itu akan naik memanjati engkau, memanjati rakyatmu dan segala pegawaimu.”
KJV, And the frogs shall come up both on thee, and upon thy people, and upon all thy servants.

וּבְכָה וּבְעַמְּךָ וּבְכָל־עֲבָדֶיךָ יַעֲלוּ הַצְפַרְדְּעִים׃
Translit, UVEKHAH UVE’AMKHA UVEKHOL-‘AVADEYKHA YA’ALU HATSEFARDEIM

8:5 LAI TB, Berfirmanlah TUHAN kepada Musa: “Katakanlah kepada Harun: Ulurkanlah tanganmu dengan tongkatmu ke atas sungai, ke atas selokan dan ke atas kolam, dan buatlah katak-katak bermunculan meliputi tanah Mesir.”
KJV, And the LORD spake unto Moses, Say unto Aaron, Stretch forth thine hand with thy rod over the streams, over the rivers, and over the ponds, and cause frogs to come up upon the land of Egypt.

וַיֹּאמֶר יְהוָה אֶל־מֹשֶׁה אֱמֹר אֶל־אַהֲרֹן נְטֵה אֶת־יָדְךָ בְּמַטֶּךָ עַל־הַנְּהָרֹת עַל־הַיְאֹרִים וְעַל־הָאֲגַמִּים וְהַעַל אֶת־הַצְפַרְדְּעִים עַל־אֶרֶץ מִצְרָיִם׃

8:6 LAI TB, Lalu Harun mengulurkan tangannya ke atas segala air di Mesir, maka bermunculanlah katak-katak, lalu menutupi tanah Mesir.
KJV, And Aaron stretched out his hand over the waters of Egypt; and the frogs came up, and covered the land of Egypt.

וַיֵּט אַהֲרֹן אֶת־יָדֹו עַל מֵימֵי מִצְרָיִם וַתַּעַל הַצְּפַרְדֵּעַ וַתְּכַס אֶת־אֶרֶץ מִצְרָיִם׃
Translit, VAYET ‘AHARON ‘ET-YADO ‘AL MEYMEY MITSRAYIM VATA’AL HATSEFARDE’A VATEKHAS ‘ET-‘ERETS MITSRAYIM

8:7 LAI TB, Tetapi para ahli itu pun membuat yang demikian juga dengan ilmu-ilmu mantera mereka, sehingga mereka membuat katak-katak bermunculan meliputi tanah Mesir.
KJV, And the magicians did so with their enchantments, and brought up frogs upon the land of Egypt.

וַיַּעֲשׂוּ־כֵן הַחֲרְטֻמִּים בְּלָטֵיהֶם וַיַּעֲלוּ אֶת־הַצְפַרְדְּעִים עַל־אֶרֶץ מִצְרָיִם׃
Translit, VAYA’ASU-KHEN HAKHARTUMIM BELATEYHEM VAYA’ALU ‘ET-HATSEFARDE’IM ‘AL-‘ERETS MITSRAYIM

8:8 LAI TB, Kemudian Firaun memanggil Musa dan Harun serta berkata: “Berdoalah kepada TUHAN, supaya dijauhkan-Nya katak-katak itu dari padaku dan dari pada rakyatku; maka aku akan membiarkan bangsa itu pergi, supaya mereka mempersembahkan korban kepada TUHAN.”
KJV, Then Pharaoh called for Moses and Aaron, and said, Intreat the LORD, that he may take away the frogs from me, and from my people; and I will let the people go, that they may do sacrifice unto the LORD.

וַיִּקְרָא פַרְעֹה לְמֹשֶׁה וּלְאַהֲרֹן וַיֹּאמֶר הַעְתִּירוּ אֶל־יְהוָה וְיָסֵר הַצְפַרְדְּעִים מִמֶּנִּי וּמֵעַמִּי וַאֲשַׁלְּחָה אֶת־הָעָם וְיִזְבְּחוּ לַיהוָה׃

8:9 LAI TB, Kata Musa kepada Firaun: “Silakanlah tuanku katakan kepadaku, bila aku akan berdoa untukmu, untuk pegawaimu dan rakyatmu, supaya katak-katak itu dilenyapkan dari padamu dan dari rumah-rumahmu, dan hanya tinggal di sungai Nil saja.”
KJV, And Moses said unto Pharaoh, Glory over me: when shall I intreat for thee, and for thy servants, and for thy people, to destroy the frogs from thee and thy houses, that they may remain in the river only?

וַיֹּאמֶר מֹשֶׁה לְפַרְעֹה הִתְפָּאֵר עָלַי לְמָתַי ׀ אַעְתִּיר לְךָ וְלַעֲבָדֶיךָ וּלְעַמְּךָ לְהַכְרִית הַצֲפַרְדְּעִים מִמְּךָ וּמִבָּתֶּיךָ רַק בַּיְאֹר תִּשָּׁאַרְנָה׃
Translit, VAYOMER MOSYEH LEFAROH HITPAER ‘ALAY LEMATAY ‘ATIR LEKHA VELA’AVADEYKHA ULE’AMKHA LEHAKHRIT HATSEFARDE’IM MIMKHA UMIBATEYKHA RAK BAYOR TISYA’ARNA

8:10 LAI TB, Katanya: “Besok.” Lalu kata Musa: “Jadilah seperti katamu itu, supaya tuanku mengetahui, bahwa tidak ada yang seperti TUHAN, Allah kami.
KJV, And he said, To morrow. And he said, Be it according to thy word: that thou mayest know that there is none like unto the LORD our God.
Hebrew,
וַיֹּאמֶר לְמָחָר וַיֹּאמֶר כִּדְבָרְךָ לְמַעַן תֵּדַע כִּי־אֵין כַּיהוָה אֱלֹהֵינוּ׃
Translit, VAYOMER LEMAKHAR VAYOMER KIDVARKHA LEMA’AN TEDA KI-‘EYN KA’YEHOVAH (baca: Ka’Adonay) ‘ELOHEYNU

8:11 LAI TB, Maka katak-katak itu akan dijauhkan dari padamu, dari rumah-rumahmu, dari pegawai-pegawaimu dan dari rakyatmu; dan hanya akan tinggal di sungai Nil saja.”
KJV, And the frogs shall depart from thee, and from thy houses, and from thy servants, and from thy people; they shall remain in the river only.
Hebrew,
וְסָרוּ הַצְפַרְדְּעִים מִמְּךָ וּמִבָּתֶּיךָ וּמֵעֲבָדֶיךָ וּמֵעַמֶּךָ רַק בַּיְאֹר תִּשָּׁאַרְנָה׃
Translit, VESARU HATSEFARDE’IM MIMKHA UMIBATEYKHA UME’AVADEYKHA UME’AMEKHA RAK BAYOR TISYA’ARNAH

8:12 LAI TB, Lalu Musa dan Harun keluar meninggalkan Firaun, dan Musa berseru kepada TUHAN karena katak-katak, yang didatangkan-Nya kepada Firaun.
KJV, And Moses and Aaron went out from Pharaoh: and Moses cried unto the LORD because of the frogs which he had brought against Pharaoh.

וַיֵּצֵא מֹשֶׁה וְאַהֲרֹן מֵעִם פַּרְעֹה וַיִּצְעַק מֹשֶׁה אֶל־יְהוָה עַל־דְּבַר הַצְפַרְדְּעִים אֲשֶׁר־שָׂם לְפַרְעֹה׃

8:13 LAI TB, Dan TUHAN melakukan seperti yang dikatakan Musa, sehingga katak-katak itu mati lenyap dari rumah, dari halaman dan dari ladang.
KJV, And the LORD did according to the word of Moses; and the frogs died out of the houses, out of the villages, and out of the fields.

וַיַּעַשׂ יְהוָה כִּדְבַר מֹשֶׁה וַיָּמֻתוּ הַצְפַרְדְּעִים מִן־הַבָּתִּים מִן־הַחֲצֵרֹת וּמִן־הַשָּׂדֹת׃

8:14 LAI TB, Dikumpulkan oranglah bangkai-bangkainya bertumpuk-tumpuk, sehingga tanah itu berbau busuk.
KJV, And they gathered them together upon heaps: and the land stank.

וַיִּצְבְּרוּ אֹתָם חֳמָרִם חֳמָרִם וַתִּבְאַשׁ הָאָרֶץ׃
Translit, VAYITSBERU ‘OTAM KHOMARIM KHOMARIM VATIVASY HA’ARETS

8:15 LAI TB, Tetapi ketika Firaun melihat, bahwa telah terasa kelegaan, ia tetap berkeras hati, dan tidak mau mendengarkan mereka keduanya — seperti yang telah difirmankan TUHAN.
KJV, But when Pharaoh saw that there was respite, he hardened his heart, and hearkened not unto them; as the LORD had said.

וַיַּרְא פַּרְעֹה כִּי הָיְתָה הָרְוָחָה וְהַכְבֵּד אֶת־לִבֹּו וְלֹא שָׁמַע אֲלֵהֶם כַּאֲשֶׁר דִּבֶּר יְהוָה׃ ס

8:16 LAI TB, Berfirmanlah TUHAN kepada Musa: “Katakanlah kepada Harun: Ulurkanlah tongkatmu dan pukulkanlah itu ke debu tanah, maka debu itu akan menjadi nyamuk di seluruh tanah Mesir.”
KJV, And the LORD said unto Moses, Say unto Aaron, Stretch out thy rod, and smite the dust of the land, that it may become lice throughout all the land of Egypt.

וַיֹּאמֶר יְהוָה אֶל־מֹשֶׁה אֱמֹר אֶל־אַהֲרֹן נְטֵה אֶת־מַטְּךָ וְהַךְ אֶת־עֲפַר הָאָרֶץ וְהָיָה לְכִנִּם בְּכָל־אֶרֶץ מִצְרָיִם׃

8:17 LAI TB, Lalu mereka berbuat demikian; Harun mengulurkan tangannya dengan tongkatnya dan memukulkannya ke debu tanah, maka nyamuk-nyamuk itu hinggap pada manusia dan pada binatang. Segala debu tanah menjadi nyamuk di seluruh tanah Mesir.
KJV, And they did so; for Aaron stretched out his hand with his rod, and smote the dust of the earth, and it became lice in man, and in beast; all the dust of the land became lice throughout all the land of Egypt.

8:18 LAI TB, Para ahli itu pun membuat yang demikian juga dengan ilmu-ilmu manteranya untuk mengadakan nyamuk-nyamuk, tetapi mereka tidak dapat. Demikianlah nyamuk-nyamuk itu hinggap pada manusia dan pada binatang.
KJV, And the magicians did so with their enchantments to bring forth lice, but they could not: so there were lice upon man, and upon beast.

וַיַּעֲשׂוּ־כֵן הַחַרְטֻמִּים בְּלָטֵיהֶם לְהֹוצִיא אֶת־הַכִּנִּים וְלֹא יָכֹלוּ וַתְּהִי הַכִּנָּם בָּאָדָם וּבַבְּהֵמָה׃

8:19 LAI TB, Lalu berkatalah para ahli itu kepada Firaun: “Inilah tangan Allah.” Tetapi hati Firaun berkeras, dan ia tidak mau mendengarkan mereka — seperti yang telah difirmankan TUHAN.
KJV, Then the magicians said unto Pharaoh, This is the finger of God: and Pharaoh’s heart was hardened, and he hearkened not unto them; as the LORD had said.

וַיֹּאמְרוּ הַחַרְטֻמִּים אֶל־פַּרְעֹה אֶצְבַּע אֱלֹהִים הִוא וַיֶּחֱזַק לֵב־פַּרְעֹה וְלֹא־שָׁמַע אֲלֵהֶם כַּאֲשֶׁר דִּבֶּר יְהוָה׃ ס
Translit, VAYOM’RU {dan mereka berkata} HAKHARTUMIM {para ahli nujum itu} ‘EL-PAROH {kepada firaun} ‘ETS’BA {jari telunjuk} ‘ELOHIM {Allah} HI {itu} VAYEKHEZAQ {tetapi Dia mengeraskan} LEV- {hati dari} PAROH {firaun} VELO- {dan tidak} SHAMA {dia mendengar} ‘ALEHEM {mereka} KA’ASHER {seperti yang} DIBER {difirmankan} YEHOVAH (baca: ‘Adonay, TUHAN)

8:20 LAI TB, Berfirmanlah TUHAN kepada Musa: “Bangunlah pagi-pagi dan berdirilah menantikan Firaun, pada waktu biasanya ia keluar ke sungai, dan katakanlah kepadanya: Beginilah firman TUHAN: Biarkanlah umat-Ku pergi, supaya mereka beribadah kepada-Ku;
KJV, And the LORD said unto Moses, Rise up early in the morning, and stand before Pharaoh; lo, he cometh forth to the water; and say unto him, Thus saith the LORD, Let my people go, that they may serve me.

וַיֹּאמֶר יְהוָה אֶל־מֹשֶׁה הַשְׁכֵּם בַּבֹּקֶר וְהִתְיַצֵּב לִפְנֵי פַרְעֹה הִנֵּה יֹוצֵא הַמָּיְמָה וְאָמַרְתָּ אֵלָיו כֹּה אָמַר יְהוָה שַׁלַּח עַמִּי וְיַעַבְדֻנִי׃

8:21 LAI TB, sebab jika engkau tidak membiarkan umat-Ku itu pergi, maka Aku akan melepaskan pikat terhadap engkau, terhadap pegawai-pegawaimu, rakyatmu dan rumah-rumahmu, sehingga rumah-rumah orang Mesir, bahkan tanah, di mana mereka berdiri akan penuh dengan pikat.
KJV, Else, if thou wilt not let my people go, behold, I will send swarms of flies upon thee, and upon thy servants, and upon thy people, and into thy houses: and the houses of the Egyptians shall be full of swarms of flies, and also the ground whereon they are.

8:22 LAI TB, Tetapi pada hari itu Aku akan mengecualikan tanah Gosyen, di mana umat-Ku tinggal, sehingga di sana tidak ada terdapat pikat, supaya engkau mengetahui, bahwa Aku, TUHAN, ada di negeri ini.
KJV, And I will sever in that day the land of Goshen, in which my people dwell, that no swarms of flies shall be there; to the end thou mayest know that I am the LORD in the midst of the earth.
Hebrew,
וְהִפְלֵיתִי בַיֹּום הַהוּא אֶת־אֶרֶץ גֹּשֶׁן אֲשֶׁר עַמִּי עֹמֵד עָלֶיהָ לְבִלְתִּי הֱיֹות־שָׁם עָרֹב לְמַעַן תֵּדַע כִּי אֲנִי יְהוָה בְּקֶרֶב הָאָרֶץ׃

8:23 LAI TB, Sebab Aku akan mengadakan perbedaan antara umat-Ku dan bangsamu. Besok tanda mujizat ini akan terjadi.”
KJV, And I will put a division between my people and thy people: to morrow shall this sign be.

וְשַׂמְתִּי פְדֻת בֵּין עַמִּי וּבֵין עַמֶּךָ לְמָחָר יִהְיֶה הָאֹת הַזֶּה׃
Translit, VESAMTI FEDUT BEYN ‘AMI UVEYN ‘AMEKHA LEMAKHAR YIHYEH HA’OT HAZEH

8:24 LAI TB, TUHAN berbuat demikian; maka datanglah banyak-banyak pikat ke dalam istana Firaun dan ke dalam rumah pegawai-pegawainya dan ke seluruh tanah Mesir; negeri itu menderita karena pikat itu.
KJV, And the LORD did so; and there came a grievous swarm of flies into the house of Pharaoh, and into his servants’ houses, and into all the land of Egypt: the land was corrupted by reason of the swarm of flies.

וַיַּעַשׂ יְהוָה כֵּן וַיָּבֹא עָרֹב כָּבֵד בֵּיתָה פַרְעֹה וּבֵית עֲבָדָיו וּבְכָל־אֶרֶץ מִצְרַיִם תִּשָּׁחֵת הָאָרֶץ מִפְּנֵי הֶעָרֹב׃
Translit, VAYA’AS YEHOVAH (baca: ‘Adonay) KEN VAYAVO ‘AROV KAVED BEYTAH FAROH UVEYT ‘AVADAV UVEKHOL-‘ERETS MITSRAYIM TISYAKHET HA’ARETS MIPNEY HE’AROV

8:25 LAI TB, Lalu Firaun memanggil Musa dan Harun serta berkata: “Pergilah, persembahkanlah korban kepada Allahmu di negeri ini.”
KJV, And Pharaoh called for Moses and for Aaron, and said, Go ye, sacrifice to your God in the land.

וַיִּקְרָא פַרְעֹה אֶל־מֹשֶׁה וּלְאַהֲרֹן וַיֹּאמֶר לְכוּ זִבְחוּ לֵאלֹהֵיכֶם בָּאָרֶץ׃

8:26 LAI TB, Tetapi Musa berkata: “Tidak mungkin kami berbuat demikian, sebab korban yang akan kami persembahkan kepada TUHAN, Allah kami, adalah kekejian bagi orang Mesir. Apabila kami mempersembahkan korban yang menjadi kekejian bagi orang Mesir itu, di depan mata mereka, tidakkah mereka akan melempari kami dengan batu?
KJV, And Moses said, It is not meet so to do; for we shall sacrifice the abomination of the Egyptians to the LORD our God: lo, shall we sacrifice the abomination of the Egyptians before their eyes, and will they not stone us?

KJV, We will go three days’ journey into the wilderness, and sacrifice to the LORD our God, as he shall command us.

KJV, And Pharaoh said, I will let you go, that ye may sacrifice to the LORD your God in the wilderness; only ye shall not go very far away: intreat for me.

8:29 LAI TB, Lalu kata Musa: “Sekarang aku keluar meninggalkan tuanku dan akan berdoa kepada TUHAN, maka pikat itu akan dijauhkan besok dari Firaun, dari pegawai-pegawainya dan rakyatnya; hanya janganlah Firaun berlaku curang lagi dengan tidak membiarkan bangsa itu pergi untuk mempersembahkan korban kepada TUHAN.”
KJV, And Moses said, Behold, I go out from thee, and I will intreat the LORD that the swarms of flies may depart from Pharaoh, from his servants, and from his people, to morrow: but let not Pharaoh deal deceitfully any more in not letting the people go to sacrifice to the LORD.

8:31 LAI TB, Dan TUHAN membuat seperti yang dikatakan Musa: pikat itu dijauhkan-Nya dari Firaun, dari pegawai-pegawainya dan rakyatnya; seekor pun tidak ada yang tinggal.
KJV, And the LORD did according to the word of Moses; and he removed the swarms of flies from Pharaoh, from his servants, and from his people; there remained not one.
