24:1 LAI TB, “Apabila seseorang mengambil seorang perempuan dan menjadi suaminya, dan jika kemudian ia tidak menyukai lagi perempuan itu, sebab didapatinya yang tidak senonoh padanya, lalu ia menulis surat cerai dan menyerahkannya ke tangan perempuan itu, sesudah itu menyuruh dia pergi dari rumahnya,
KJV, When a man hath taken a wife, and married her, and it come to pass that she find no favour in his eyes, because he hath found some uncleanness in her: then let him write her a bill of divorcement, and give it in her hand, and send her out of his house.

24:2 LAI TB, dan jika perempuan itu keluar dari rumahnya dan pergi dari sana, lalu menjadi isteri orang lain,
KJV, And when she is departed out of his house, she may go and be another man’s wife.

24:3 LAI TB, dan jika laki-laki yang kemudian ini tidak cinta lagi kepadanya, lalu menulis surat cerai dan menyerahkannya ke tangan perempuan itu serta menyuruh dia pergi dari rumahnya, atau jika laki-laki yang kemudian mengambil dia menjadi isterinya itu mati,
KJV, And if the latter husband hate her, and write her a bill of divorcement, and giveth it in her hand, and sendeth her out of his house; or if the latter husband die, which took her to be his wife;

24:4 LAI TB, maka suaminya yang pertama, yang telah menyuruh dia pergi itu, tidak boleh mengambil dia kembali menjadi isterinya, setelah perempuan itu dicemari; sebab hal itu adalah kekejian di hadapan TUHAN. Janganlah engkau mendatangkan dosa atas negeri yang diberikan TUHAN, Allahmu, kepadamu menjadi milik pusakamu.
KJV, Her former husband, which sent her away, may not take her again to be his wife, after that she is defiled; for that is abomination before the LORD: and thou shalt not cause the land to sin, which the LORD thy God giveth thee for an inheritance.

24:5 LAI TB, Apabila baru saja seseorang mengambil isteri, janganlah ia keluar bersama-sama dengan tentara maju berperang atau dibebankan sesuatu pekerjaan; satu tahun lamanya ia harus dibebaskan untuk keperluan rumah tangganya dan menyukakan hati perempuan yang telah diambilnya menjadi isterinya.”
KJV, When a man hath taken a new wife, he shall not go out to war, neither shall he be charged with any business: but he shall be free at home one year, and shall cheer up his wife which he hath taken.

24:6 LAI TB, “Janganlah mengambil kilangan atau batu kilangan atas sebagai gadai, karena yang demikian itu mengambil nyawa orang sebagai gadai.
KJV, No man shall take the nether or the upper millstone to pledge: for he taketh a man’s life to pledge.

24:7 LAI TB, Apabila seseorang kedapatan sedang menculik orang, salah seorang saudaranya, dari antara orang Israel, lalu memperlakukan dia sebagai budak dan menjual dia, maka haruslah penculik itu mati. Demikianlah harus kauhapuskan yang jahat itu dari tengah-tengahmu.
KJV, If a man be found stealing any of his brethren of the children of Israel, and maketh merchandise of him, or selleth him; then that thief shall die; and thou shalt put evil away from among you.

24:8 LAI TB, Hati-hatilah dalam hal penyakit kusta dan lakukanlah dengan tepat segala yang diajarkan imam-imam orang Lewi kepadamu; apa yang kuperintahkan kepada mereka haruslah kamu lakukan dengan setia.
KJV, Take heed in the plague of leprosy, that thou observe diligently, and do according to all that the priests the Levites shall teach you: as I commanded them, so ye shall observe to do.

24:11 LAI TB, Haruslah engkau tinggal berdiri di luar, dan orang yang kauberi pinjaman itu haruslah membawa gadai itu ke luar kepadamu.

24:12 LAI TB, Jika ia seorang miskin, janganlah engkau tidur dengan barang gadaiannya;

24:13 LAI TB, kembalikanlah gadaian itu kepadanya pada waktu matahari terbenam, supaya ia dapat tidur dengan memakai kainnya sendiri dan memberkati engkau. Maka engkau akan menjadi benar di hadapan TUHAN, Allahmu.
KJV, In any case thou shalt deliver him the pledge again when the sun goeth down, that he may sleep in his own raiment, and bless thee: and it shall be righteousness unto thee before the LORD thy God.

24:14 LAI TB, Janganlah engkau memeras pekerja harian yang miskin dan menderita, baik ia saudaramu maupun seorang asing yang ada di negerimu, di dalam tempatmu.
KJV, Thou shalt not oppress an hired servant that is poor and needy, whether he be of thy brethren, or of thy strangers that are in thy land within thy gates:

24:15 LAI TB, Pada hari itu juga haruslah engkau membayar upahnya sebelum matahari terbenam; ia mengharapkannya, karena ia orang miskin; supaya ia jangan berseru kepada TUHAN mengenai engkau dan hal itu menjadi dosa bagimu.

KJV, But thou shalt remember that thou wast a bondman in Egypt, and the LORD thy God redeemed thee thence: therefore I command thee to do this thing.

KJV, When thou cuttest down thine harvest in thy field, and hast forgot a sheaf in the field, thou shalt not go again to fetch it: it shall be for the stranger, for the fatherless, and for the widow: that the LORD thy God may bless thee in all the work of thine hands.

24:20 LAI TB, Apabila engkau memetik hasil pohon zaitunmu dengan memukul-mukulnya, janganlah engkau memeriksa dahan-dahannya sekali lagi; itulah bagian orang asing, anak yatim dan janda.
KJV, When thou beatest thine olive tree, thou shalt not go over the boughs again: it shall be for the stranger, for the fatherless, and for the widow.
